Chapter 110
John fell to his knees, crying out. This pain was worse than anything in his life, anything in his nightmares.
He reached out to keep from falling face first on the tiled floor and found someone’s hands. John held on with all of his strength.
Every part of his body, every cell, was being sliced, torn apart.
“James!” John screamed. “Help me!”
The unendurable pain receded as John was pulled out of his own body and into the surging energy of his lover. He again saw the intricate lock and key, but this time the light seemed red instead of white.
The melodious hum now felt like a shriek.
We have to push, John. Push them out of her!
James moved toward the anchors and John followed. Both of them were liquid now, forming a shield that went all the way around the agonized light
