I was surprised how he knew I was born a werewolf, because this was the first time I had met him.
Why did you call me a killer? I asked him.
"Every werewolf is a killer. You ain't a different kid."
“Please, I need you to teach me a few tricks about these powers and how I can control them,” I pleaded with him.
“No, you are not my stress, I don't need someone who's going to give out my secret to strangers,” He refused.
“Please, I need to figure out how I can control this. I killed my adopted parents back in town. That's why I left there. You have to help me. I promise not to tell anyone any of your secrets,” I held his coat close.
“Hmm, buy me a drink, and maybe I'll think about it,” he said.
“Sure, hey! Bring me two more bottles of beer and one for this gentleman,” I said, pointing at Victor.
“This is going to be fun,” I added.
“Hahaha, you have no idea what you're getting into, kid,” he laughed.
We started training the next day. He asked me to carry the heavy loads of rocks.
“This isn't fun at all!” I cried.
“We just got started. After that you're going to do about a hundred push-ups,” he said.
“I'm sorry what? I asked you to train me not to kill me. How do you expect me to do that?” I lamented.
“You are too skinny, even the weakest Luna would leave you for dead if you get into a fight with her,” he answered.
“What do you mean, and who is a Luna? I curiously asked.
“A Luna is like the queen of an Alpha. Do you know who an alpha is? Victor asked.
“No,” I replied.
“An Alpha is the leader of a pack of werewolves, he commands respect from his whole pack.” He answered.
“Are you an Alpha?” I asked, because he looked strong and wise.
“I was supposed to be… but don't worry, let's focus on your training, it's all about you today. Maybe next time we'll talk about it,” he diverted to something else.
I knew he was hiding something though, but I felt it was his personal issues.
“Wait, you mean there are other werewolves out there?” I asked in excitement.
“Yes, of course, there are werewolves living in Beacon Hills,” he said.
“Wow, I'd like to go there and learn from them too,” I said happily.
“No, you can't go there,” he said.
“Why can't I?” I anxiously asked.
I met Annabel again
“It's the most vicious and dangerous pack that has ever existed in the world, they did this to me. I have said too much already”. He showed me scars on his face.
“If I show you the road, you'll never tell them I did or about my existence. You understand me”, Victor warned.
“Yes, I promise not to tell anyone about you, you have my word,” I assured him.
“You aren't going to be so pleased with what you find”, he tells me.
Then he marked a spot and showed me on a map.
It took a moment for me to notice it though, but I did, and I went there immediately without any hesitation.
I drove all through the night till the next day. I got there at night.
Arriving there, I went to a bar,
“What do I get you darling?” a pretty waitress asked me.
“Give me a beer” I requested.
“You just showed up in the area?” She asked as she handed over my drink.
“Yes,” I answered.
“What for? She asked, trying to sniff some information out of me.
“Excuse me, why do you ask?” I refused to answer easily.
“Well, we hardly get visitors around here , that's all” she tells me.
“That's very sad because it looks like an amazing town to be in,” I told her.
“Of course it does” she said, then walked away.
“Where can I find work in this town?” I asked her, but she laughed and went about her business without answering a word.
As I started drinking my beer, a lady walked into the bar and I felt something familiar. I felt like she was a werewolf like me. This was the first time I was able to sense another werewolf. I also sensed others in the same bar too. They noticed me, as I quickly focused on my business.
Another nice pretty lady walked up to me,
“You are definitely new here. I haven't seen you here before. Would you like to dance?” She asked.
“I'm sorry, I'm not a very good dancer, so I don't like dancing,” I told her.
“Come on, any guy in the world would love to dance with me,” she insisted.
“It's good that they would do that, that means you'd never be bored” I told her slowly this time.
She walked away disappointed. I continued drinking my beer.
The girl I sensed a connection with walked towards me,
“What's your name?” She asked,
“Me? My name?” I stammered,
“I'm sorry, did I stump you with the question?” She said,
“No you didn't, my name is Brian”. I decided to tell her the wrong name because I didn't trust her yet.
“Hey, you look familiar. Have we met before?”
I added.
“Yes, you rescued me from being beaten to death. Some nights ago, thanks for saving my life,”
she said,
“You are most welcome. Why did you leave without saying goodbye? I asked her.
“I was scared, I'm sorry about that I can't trust any stranger in this town,” she said.
“Can't trust a stranger that saved your life, huh?” I said, expressing my disappointment.
“Okay, Brian, why did you come to this town? I mean what brought you here?” She asked.
“What? What do you mean?” I stammered again.
“I mean, why did you come to this bar at night all by yourself? And even the sluttiest girl in town can't get you to dance” she replied.
I laughed and said,
“Actually, that was a very tempting offer indeed.”
As I continued looking at her, a drunk dude came and hit me on the back and said,
“Hey you hassled my girl, she said you grabbed her a**” he accused me.
“Well, that's obviously not true,” I calmly replied.
“So you mean she is a liar, with a nice looking a** right?” he asked me,
“Friend relax, I only came here to have a drink not to make trouble or get into fights”. I stood up, about to walk away.
“I ain't your friend, d**K head” he replied aggressively.”
“Hey cut it out Duke”, Annabel came back and stood up to him.
“Better mind your business, Anna” he told her.
“This bar is my business. Do you want to be banned from coming here?” Anna replied to him.
“You can't kick us all out, Anna.” Other guys joined him,
I looked around. There were too many of them and I didn't want to announce myself by getting into fights with any of them, so I did what was best at the time.
“Alright then, I'm leaving”. I left the bar.
“Yeah, you better run d**K head” Duke rudely said.”
I stood out in the bushes waiting for them to stand. It wasn't long until they came out and got in a van.
I wanted to attack them and teach them a lesson about their terrible hospitality, but as soon as I came out of the bushes walking towards them, someone called me out loud.
“Who's it?” I asked, looking around.
“Come closer,” the voice replied.
I walked into the dark, on full alert, wondering who was in the dark.
