Chapter 4
I stood at the window watching Mom and Dad drive away until their car disappeared down the long driveway. My stomach twisted with a confusing mix of relief and dread. A whole week alone in this house with Damon. After what we did last night my body still felt him everywhere. The soreness between my legs. The way my skin remembered his hands. I should have felt guilty. Instead I felt hungry for more.
Damon’s voice broke the silence behind me. “Party tonight. House is ours. Time to have some real fun.”
I spun around crossing my arms tight over my chest. “A party? They just left Damon. Are you kidding me?”
He leaned against the doorframe with that infuriating smirk. His eyes dragged over my body slow and deliberate. “What’s wrong princess? Scared you won’t be able to keep your hands off me with people around?”
Heat rushed to my face. I hated him. I hated how right he was. “You are unbelievable. This is exactly why we should not have done what we did last night.”
He stepped closer until I could smell his cologne. “Yet you begged for my c**k so sweetly. Keep pretending you hate me Lila. It only turns me on more.”
Before I could snap back the doorbell rang. Damon brushed past me letting his fingers graze my ass on purpose. “That’s Sophia. Try not to look too jealous.”
Sophia. His girlfriend. I remembered her from the wedding. Tall and model thin with sharp eyes that always seemed to judge me. When she walked in her gaze landed on me like I was dirt on her expensive shoes. “Oh. You’re still here.”
I forced a smile even though my jaw hurt. “It’s my house too now.”
Damon pulled her close and kissed her. I looked away fast but the image burned into my mind. His hand on her waist. Her perfect body pressed against him. Jealousy twisted sharp in my chest. I had no claim on him. We were stepsiblings. This was all wrong. But last night he had been inside me. He had filled me with his c*m. And now he was playing happy couple with her.
I spent most of the day hiding in my room. Every laugh from downstairs felt like a knife. Every time I pictured his hands on Sophia my blood boiled hotter. By evening the house filled with loud music and strangers. I could hear people dancing and shouting downstairs. The kind of chaos I hated.
Eventually hunger won. I went down to the kitchen and grabbed a strong drink. The alcohol burned my throat but it helped blur the edges. I was sipping it when a cute guy named Marcus approached me with an easy smile. We started talking. He was funny and flirty in a safe way. For the first time that night I laughed for real.
I felt Damon’s eyes on me before I saw him. He was across the room with Sophia but his stare burned into my skin. Good. Let him watch me enjoy someone else’s attention.
Sophia noticed too. She walked over with Damon right behind her. Her smile was fake and venomous. “How cute. Already making friends Lila? Careful. Marcus likes them with a little extra but he loses interest fast.”
Anger flared hot inside me. “At least he doesn’t need to throw loud parties to feel important like some desperate attention seeker.”
Sophia’s eyes narrowed. Damon stepped between us but his hand brushed my hip in the crowd. A secret touch that sent electricity racing through me. I hated how my body reacted to him even now.
The party got louder. I danced with Marcus letting his hands rest on my waist. Every move I made I felt Damon watching. The rivalry between us crackled like fire. He had f****d me last night like I belonged to him and now he paraded Sophia around like nothing happened. It made me want to scream. It made me want him even more.
I slipped upstairs to escape the noise. The second I closed my bedroom door it opened again. Damon stepped inside and locked it. His eyes were dark with anger and lust.
“Having fun with Marcus?” he growled advancing on me.
I backed up until my legs hit the bed. “Jealous? While you were all over Sophia downstairs?”
He grabbed me pulling me hard against his body. I could feel how hard he was. “You’re mine Lila. Even if I have to remind you right now with everyone downstairs.”
His mouth crashed down on mine. The kiss was rough and claiming. I kissed him back just as fiercely. We were supposed to be rivals. We were supposed to hate each other. But the danger of the party right below us only made everything hotter.
Damon pushed me onto the bed shoving my dress up. He yanked my panties aside and freed himself. In one thrust he buried his thick c**k deep inside me. I gasped at the stretch. He felt even bigger than last night.
He f****d me hard and fast. The bed shook with every powerful stroke. Music thumped below covering my moans. I wrapped my legs around him taking him deeper. Pleasure built fast mixing with all the anger and jealousy.
“Say you’re mine,” he demanded against my neck biting down.
I came hard clenching around him. “Yours,” I gasped even though I hated admitting it.
Damon groaned and thrust deep one last time filling me with his hot c*m. We barely caught our breath when a knock sounded on the door. Sophia’s voice called out sharp and suspicious. “Damon? You in there?”
