Julius POV:

Julius wake your ass up! I hear my brother shout in my head. Trying to ignore him and go back to sleep all I hear is Axle's mouth repeating my name over and over again.

Julius Julius Juliusssss!!!

Oh, right I forgot to tell you we are vampires and can talk to each other in our minds it's called mind linking. Cool right yeah not always especially if you have an annoying brother like I do. Laughing to myself I jump up out of the bed and yell, Axel shut the hell up already I'm up and of course he responds by laughing really.

Stupid brother can't live with him and can't live without him, but when you're a vampire you don't really have a choice because can live thousands of years. Unfortunately I'm stuck with him just kidding he's the only family, I have left, so I'm very protective of him even when he drives me crazy most days.

Breaking my train of thought Axel throws my bedroom door open and I end up catching a pillow he threw right before it hit me in my face. While he's looking all chipper and smiling like a full how can you be so cheerful at 8 in the morning. Axel says, it just feels like it's going to be a good day.

Want to go to the coffee shop and get some muffins. I guess so just let me get dressed grabbing a simple black T-shirt with a pair of dark Wrangler jeans and my brown work boots, I go into the bathroom for a quick shower. I make my way downstairs to meet Axel, he says while laughing it's about time you ready man your slower than a woman. Rolling my eyes we head to the garage that has my Mustang, Camaro, and my baby my favorite so far 2020 Porsche 718 Gt4 Cayman with a beautiful yellow exterior, black, and yellow leather seats.

Jumping into her we fly down the road heading towards grandma's place the coffee shop. Parking my baby in her spot we go in and meet a few of our mates Trevor and Dustin. Giving them each a fist pump we take a seat in the booth. Not a minute later Shelly comes over for our orders. She's a sweet girl and also a werewolf. You can tell she has a thing for my brother, but he's too stupid to notice when she is literally standing right in front of him.

Smacking the back of his head since his nose is stuck in his phone like always. Ouch! What the f**k was that... forgetting what he was saying while looking at Shelly. Shelly asks again what would you like he says the usual beautiful. Seeing her cheeks turn a rosie pink color she rushes back behind the counter.

A few minutes later I hear the bell ring letting people know someone just came in. I suddenly smell the most amazing smell ever vanilla and coconut turning my head I see the most gorgeous girl that I have ever saw walk in. She's absolutely stunning with her long wavy brown hair, green eyes, and perfectly tanned skin standing about 5'4 she's so little compared to me.

Hurrying up and turning my head because I feel my eyes are changing, and I don't want to scare anyone especially her. I feel that she is not just a human but something else and very powerful, but for some reason it is blocked, so I don't think she even knows glancing up again because I feel like someone is staring and to my surprise it is her. I give her my sexy smile, she must have realized she's been caught and her face turns bright red.

Trying to hide her face with her phone when I smirk at her. Taking a drink of my coffee and turning my attention back to the guys we start talking about all the rising issues in town and try to think of a good plan to get rid of them. Roy and his dogs are our worst enemies.

As you know my brother, and I are vampires well our buddies here Trevor and Dustin are werewolves. Yes its weird we are best friends yet two different types of supernaturals. I'm the leader of my clan and Trevor is the leader of the werewolves known as an Alpha of his pack in Casper Wyoming. Roy is also a werewolf, but he's as evil as they also come a rogue meaning lone wolves. He's the leader of all the outcast rogues, vampires, they even have some witches and hunters on their side, and that is a very bad sign.

A few months now they have been causing trouble killing or k********g our children and women mainly whoever they can get their hands or paws on whether it is supernatural or even pure human. When there done with them a week later we always find the victims mangled to death. He definitely needs to be exterminated.

I pick my phone up when it starts ringing. Damian my second in command shows up on my screen. Hello Damian What's up? Sorry to disturb you but we have a problem at the colony, and you need to get here as fast as you can. I tell him ill be there soon and hand up the phone. I fill Axel, Dustin, and Trevor in on the call giving the girl one last look we run out the door to my car and make our way back to the house. Trevor and Dustin following close behind up in their car. Flying down the road because it's never good when Damian calls because it always means trouble.

Pulling up to the mansion you can feel the thickness in the air, and you can hear a pin drop because it’s so quiet while everyone stares. Damian calls out to us, so we run to him to find out what is going on. Damian tells up that Travis and Lola are here to deliver some heartbreaking news. Keegan and Esmé are dead. I feel anger build up in my body and remember they have a daughter.

What about the daughter is she safe? Yes she is safe for now and lived in the shadows, so she knows nothing about our kinds or who she really is Star is actually here in Caper Wyoming. Hearing her name I start to feel a warm vibe go through my body and I start to calm down a bit. The same feeling, I felt when I seen that girl in the coffee shop. Damian describes her to me and says they brought her here to protect her and keep her safe. I can't believe it! It really was her how could I have not remembered we used to play all the time when we were young up until Keegan and Esmé left with her to keep her out of harms way.

Damian continues saying they need help and that is why they are here. Raven the police chief said when they found Keegan and Esmé on the side of the road Keegan died from the impact but what really caught their attention was that Esmé had a ravine laced knife through her chest. Star is no longer safe. I say quicker than planned we will protect her even with our last breath if we have to.
