"Your fans want to know the truth."
The room felt hotter. I heard Linda's voice in my head, never answer from panic and smiled. Small. Controlled.
"Interesting fans."
He laughed. "So — is it true?"
I crossed one leg over the other to hide the shaking. "I think your fans need hobbies." The crew laughed. Good. Deflect. But he didn't stop.
