My lips parted slightly as I stared at the man from A&B Agency, my brain still catching up to what he'd just said.
Before any word could leave my mouth, "She won't be signing with you."
The voice cut in sharp and certain. I turned immediately. Another man had stepped forward, his presence just as commanding, and recognition clicked almost instantly, I'd seen him before, at Alexander's office.
"Yes, she will," the A&B representative countered, his tone hardening.
The second man didn't even blink. "No," he said, adjusting his cuff. "She'll be signing under Blackwood Agency."
