Safron lay on the hospital bed, the smell of antiseptic and disinfectant mixed with the stark white walls and ceiling doing little to settle her nerves. After Leon’s declaration that no matter the results, he was never leaving her, she had realised that no matter what came next, she was strong, and more importantly, safe with him by her side. So, she took the brave decision to have all tests done at the hospital, rather than the ‘Big House’. She was unsure who was the most shocked by her announcement.
