Chapter Sixty-Two. Mario shook as he stepped inside the large office of his boss Giovanni Belloni. He had f****d up, majorly, and had lost the girl his Don was frantically searching for. Fear twisted in his guts, as he approached the large walnut desk. Sitting behind it was the don, the head of the Belloni family, his face a stoic mask. Rather than greet Mario, the don simply sat, his eyes locking with his, not speaking a word. Mario did not know if that was worse or better than having a gun pointed to his head. At least with a gun at his head, he would know for certain the consequences of failing in his duty. However, just having his boss staring wordlessly at him, increased the fear tenfold, leaving him no clue as to what his punishment would be. The atmosphere was thick with tension,
