“Are you both sure you wish to leave the protection of this place?” Tank asked his son and Safron. Leon nodded his head as his father raised a quizzical eyebrow. It was clear that Leon would do anything and everything to ensure Safron’s happiness, and thus his objective look at any decision was compromised. Not that the veteran soldier held that against him. He understood all too well the need to please the woman who was the other half of your mind, body and soul.
“We talked about it a lot last night, and we are heading home today,” Leon stated.
