“True.” Harold pointed at him and nodded. Hugh Ancry, the Palace Agricultural Librarian in the Cochem Kingdom, had gotten called into Fairy Court once. Harold probably knew about it from his sister Twyla, but no one knew what had happened in the Fairy Court. The librarian wouldn’t talk about it.
“You don’t get called into Fairy Court for asking for Free Passage,” Saffy shouted.
“What if you offered the Fairy Kingdom a gift to take care of your dragon?” William suggested. “The fairies are supposed to be fond of cowslip tea or marigold leaves or even dandelion wine—”
“I’m not starting a restaurant,” Saffy said. William looked hurt, but Saffy didn’t have time for that now. “I want them to cure my dragon and let me take it home. Merrill and Webb will tell me if I can get Free Passage or not
