CHAPTER FOURTEEN The Ranger Queen *SAFFY*MAGELLAN HAD ONLY been gone for a short time when the dragon curled up in front of the iron gate, laid its head down and closed its eyes. After a few moments, snores filled the air.
“That dragon’s not going anywhere.” Saffy prodded the sleeping Saffron with her foot.
The dragon snored louder.
“No-o? If you’re su-rrrrrre.” Psyche shivered.
Saffy touched her arm. “You’re frozen! Do you want to go up to the portrait gallery until Magellan gets back? We can see the tunnel entrance from there. I want to show you the one of Queen Hildegard.”
“Yes! I would love to see-eeee some real kings and quee-eeeens.” Psyche’s teeth chattered. “Dressed up.”
