Amelia's POV
The police arrive within minutes. Detective Sarah clears each room with her weapon drawn.
"All clear." She holsters her gun. Studies the apartment with sharp eyes. "But whoever did this wasn't an amateur."
"What does that mean?" My voice shakes.
"No forced entry. No signs of picking the lock. No broken windows." She examines my door. "Whoever came in had a key."
"That's impossible." I move to the door. Check the lock myself. "I changed the locks after the divorce. Only Harper has a spare."
"And your landlord." Detective Sarah makes notes. "Building maintenance. Anyone who had access before you changed them."
Daniel. The thought flashed. But Daniel never had keys to this apartment.
"We'll dust for prints. Check security footage." Detective Sarah signals to her partner.
