I exchanged a meaningful glance with Charlie, he shrugged and then bowed his head. He probably felt as bad as I did. I looked at Alex who was fully relaxed in our company. I think she knew that something wasn't quite right with who we were, but to her the problem was not knowing what it was. She didn't seem to care that we were Werewolves, she was only interested that we could now be honest with her. She'd even apologised for putting us out! That made me feel really bad. How in Goddess name were we going to let her know the rest without freaking her out? It was something that we definitely needed to discuss.
