Good grief she was off again!
I came to a lot slower than I had at 3 am in the morning. I had no idea what time it was but it felt like I'd been asleep for just a few minutes. I looked at my new phone. It was 5 am. I yawned loudly and rolled over to try and get back to sleep. A few seconds later the delicious smell of toffee apples started to work it's way into my body and like an unconscious cartoon character I headed towards the source of the scent without even opening my eyes. The aroma was dragging me along! I don't even think I was using my feet.
I forced my eyes open when I got to the doors just to see if Charlie was on the terrace waiting for me. He wasn't there but the smell was stronger so he must be c
