"The Hecate Castle" Alex stared at him with wide eyes. "What? The Hecate Castle?! You mean the one on..... " Appollo completed the sentence for him. "On the island, yes." Alex continued to stare at him. "What's wrong Alex?" "I hope you know exactly what you are doing Appollo." he said, finally taking his eyes of Appollo, and started driving. Appollo smiled and said, "Are you asking me because that place is supposedly haunted?!" There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "You don't seem to believe it, do you?" "Obviously not Alex. I mean, come on, who would? Ghosts?? Haha. It's the 21st century. I can't comprehend the fact that everyone in Zen is so terrified of that place, that they refrain from even speaking about it." "Whatever century it is, whatever you have heard about the island is true Appollo. I..." he was cut off by Appollo. "Actually Alex, I have just heard that the island is haunted from one of my journalist friends. I don't know much about the place. Could you please do the honors of enlightening me sir?" he playfully asked. "It will help my book." he added. Alex's expression hardened. "You....", Alex started. He was about to say something, then thought against it. "I offered you a ride, and that will be it. I'm sorry I will not be speaking about that wretched place." There was an uncomfortable silence in the car throughout the rest of the journey. Twenty minutes later, they reached town. Alex slowed down and stopped the car. " This is the town Appollo." he pointed at a dilapidated building a few feet away from the place where they had stopped. "You see that building. Take the path on its right. There is a graveyard behind it. Keep going on the main road. The motel is around 2 miles from here." "Thanks Alex. By the way, what about my car? " "Don't worry, I'll get someone to tow it to the garage tomorrow morning. Once it's ready, I'll have it delivered at the motel. You can pay them then. Is it OK?" "Absolutely. And.. Uhm.. I'm sorry if I've spoken about anything that might have disturbed you." "It's OK young man. Just be.. Careful.. You don't know this place, or people. If I were you, I wouldn't come for this little adventure. Anyway my house is near the Leto lake. Come over anytime you need something. " Appollo smiled and thanked him once again. He waved him goodbye, and watched the car disappear from his view.
