38 The Apex PredatorThe livestock nursery at Q330 was an extension to the clonatory, and could only be accessed by Denise Ricard and Olga Davidenko. By way of a truce, Ricard had invited Hanson to view the secret facility and the prototype crop of newly cloned livestock. The nursery was set out as a dodecahedron with twelve single occupancy cells located on each of the twelve surrounding walls. The entrance emerged well above the central core of the room - leading to a metal walkway and stairs that doubled as a viewing platform into each of the twelve nurturing cells via one-way mirrors.
