Domain's pov
My men and I had returned successfully from the supposed war Duke kesper had prepared for us. The men with little bruises had gone ahead to return their horses, while those who sustained injuries were taken to be cleaned up. I had quickly excused myself into the house as i didn't want anyone to see me. Some maids had asked that they help clean the little bruise on my head but I waved them off too. I only asked that they bring lunch to my room. I didn't know father and mother were at the dinning hall and I was numb when their gaze met mine. Mother had quickly stood up to check on me.
