43 George eased his neck in a slow roll, unsuccessfully trying to rid himself of the ache, fighting the constant threat of full-blown cramps. He checked his watch again and tried to focus on the frothy white horses below. ‘What do you reckon, Scotty?’ he called out. ‘I can’t tell you, George. Should be sighting land soon, I’d say.
