8 George stroked a wayward strand of hair away from Cissie’s eyes and lazily leaned over to kiss the deliciously soft little spot of skin behind her earlobe. She snuggled deeper beneath the eiderdown and sighed with contentment. Rain pelted against the windowpanes and drummed heavily on the corrugated iron roof overhead. It was warm inside their cocoon. No reason to get up and out of bed early this Saturday morning.
