The next morning, I was at Lane Group right on time. Seven or eight people were already seated in the top-floor conference room. Lucas stood at the projector screen. He spotted me and raised a hand. "We're all here. Let's start." I'd barely sat down before he pulled up an org chart. "Head of the new division, Serena Shaw. All project decisions go through her." Eyes moved around the room.
