I did not believe a single word coming from Joey's mouth. I know what I have seen, and I know he is not to be trusted. After going back and forth a few times, Elliot eventually came to assure me that Joey was in fact on our side. Connor had ordered him to get Bret to trust him, to gain inside information, and to keep an eye on my family. Rebecca is challenging Bret to distract him and keep him from noticing the Aberrant pack closing in on them. The distraction would also keep him from focusing on mind links happening around him.
