“Stay in the car”, Connor orders me and gets out of the Jeep. The men in the cars in front of us are getting out as well. Men from the cars behind us are passing our vehicle, following Connor. I watched them disappear from my view one by one. The restlessness of not knowing what is going on is killing me. I looked back towards the cars behind us but saw no one stayed behind. Screw it, I’m getting closer, I decide. I know it goes against Connors' orders, but lucky for me, I’m not bound to his Alpha orders yet, as I have not been initiated into the pack. I jump out the car and sneak closer from one car to the next until I can hear them and somewhat see them.
