Sapphire's face turned a bright tomato red. "Uh…”
"It means we're getting married, Charlie," Dawn said.
Sapphire jerked her head toward him. Dawn was looking down at her with a grin on her face. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out of it. She briefly considered hitting him. But she quickly remembered who he was. When your mate was an Alpha and you couldn't whack him, life was miserable.
"Really?" Charlie's pupils constricted slightly as he pointed his tiny finger at her colleague. "You better take care of Dawn, right, Daddy?" He looked at Carter, who was sitting motionless in the chair in the corner.
