In the middle of the night, Dawn carried his mate's bridal style up to the attic. She might think there were issues between them, or not be as comfortable with their relationship yet. But the way she wrapped her arms around his neck and fell back asleep against his shoulder spoke differently. She trusted him. That would go a long way in handling whatever issues arose.
