Alissa's P.O.V. It's been a week since I saw Aaron Hunt and I just couldn't stop thinking about him. He was the last person I expected to wake up next to. But what I didn't expect the most was for him to act all nice to me. When we first meet he was a certified asshole but, all of a sudden he's a saint. Stupid bipolar man! Just because he was nice once doesn't mean he's not an arrogant jerk. Shaking the thought of him away, I decided to get up and go to work. Today is the day I put in my two weeks notice at the bakery. I hope Mrs.Jones won't be too upset. I was in my room getting ready to go to work and since I only had ten minutes so, I decided to skip breakfast. Jo already went to work as a receptionist at a five star hotel. So, I just left the apartment and rode the bus to the bakery. Ten minutes later I arrived to the sweet smelling bakery, only to meet an upset Mrs.Jones "Hey, Mrs.Jones, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly. Oh no, I hope nothing bad happened to anyone. "I have some bad news. I'm afraid that this is my last day as your boss." I saw that she was very heart broken. "What! Why? You love this bakery more than anything. We all had many memories here along with this being a second home to me." I started to get upset. Mrs. Jones was like a second mother to me. This can't be happening. "I decided to sell the bakery. I know you guys love this place but, I can't be your boss anymore. There's hardly any business here like it used to be. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys earlier but, it was hard. You all are like another family to me. I'm afraid this is your last day here. I'm really going to miss you all."she sighed The tears were visible in her eyes even though she tried not to let them fall. "And we're going to miss you too." We all gathered around her and hugged for what felt like hours. I guess I don't have to put in my two week notice then. ****** My whole entire shift went by in a blink of I eye. I'm really going to miss Mrs.Jones and everyone else. This was my first job after graduate college. She treated all of us like family and always payed her employees well. Even if your not really that experienced you learned a lot just by working here. I'm really going to miss them. I waited for a bus and hopped on when it came. About twenty minutes later, I gotten off and made it to Jo's and I apartment complex. I took out my spare apartment key and began unlocking the door. I stepped inside, noticing that Jo hasn't made it home yet. Since I don't have a job now, I decided to go job hunting for awhile online. I went on many different websites and neither of them was what I was looking for. The people who were hiring either had enough employees already, payed too little or, it was " I had little experience". How am I supposed to have experience when people won't hire me? It's like my college degree doesn't even exist with some of these companies. I started to give up on job hunting for the day until I seen a position opened up to be a secretary for the CEO of Hunt Enterprise. Even though I studied business in college, I'm not sure if I want to run into him. It be so weird considering we both slept in the same bed and the first time I met him I kinda told him off. But, it's worth a try though. Quickly deciding about working there, I began calling to see if the position still open. I waited for a couple of seconds until the receptionist answered. "Hello. This is Hunt Enterprise. How may I help you?" she asked. " Hello, My name's Alissa and I'm wondering if the position for being a secretary for the CEO open?" I respond. "Can you please wait a second and I can check." I waited for a minute while I heard her type on her keyboard. "Oh yes ma'am the position is still open. And your in luck, Mr. Hunt is having interviews tomorrow for the position for personal secretary. The requirements include a resume, background check, proof of residency, and we're also gonna need you to fill a form online. Make sure everything is neatly placed in a manila folder. Interviews starts tomorrow at nine o'clock and ends at four o'clock. Make sure your not late." "Okay, thank you. I'll make sure to have everything needed for tomorrow." I told the receptionist. "Your welcome, bye." "Bye." I had hope and faith that I will get the job. Maybe there won't be a lot of people applying for the job. After the call, I seen that it was getting late and decided to go change into something comfortable and go to sleep. ******* Next day I wake up with the sun shining brightly throw the window into my room. I looked at the time and saw that I only had twenty minutes before the interview started. Why didn't my alarm go off? Oh no I can't be late. I hopped out of bed and took a really quick ten minute shower. I brushed my teeth and proceeded to put my clothes on. I'm glad that I found something to where last night otherwise I'll be really late. I know receptionist said that interviews started nine o'clock and ended four o'clock but, it's best to be early. Not to mention all the people who've applied. Being the personal secretary of a multi-billionaire means you'll get paid well. I put on a black business trousers on , a nude colored shirt with a matching purse, a pair of black heels, and a black jacket to go along. I didn't have time to do anything special to my hair so, I just put it in a messy bun. I quickly left the apartment with the things I needed for today's interview and practically ran down the stairs. Instead of taking the bus like I usually do, I decided to haul a cab to take me to the interview. The yellow cab stopped in front of me after the cab driver noticed me. I opened the door and got settled in. "Where to?" The male driver with salt and pepper asked. "To Hunt Enterprise. I'm going there for a job interview but, I'm in a hurry. " I responded. " Don't worry, I'll get you there." The drive went by fast in a blink of an eye. Before getting out, I thanked the driver and payed the cab fee. I smooth out my skirt and began walking into the building. When I walked in, I was amazed how the interior and design of the building was impressive. Some of the employees were a bit professional. I walked straight to the receptionist for the job interview. She looked like she was in her twenties and seemed very nice and friendly. "Hello, how may I help you."she said nicely but, had that professional tone. "Hi, My name is Alissa Hartman and I'm here for the job interview." I replied with a small smile. "Oh, please use the elevator on your left and go to the fortieth floor. " "Thanks, ummm....." "Katherine." she said while shaking my hand. "You seem like a good candidate for the position that has opened up here. I hope you do get the job, we can use people like you. There were so many woman who walked in with tight clothing, short skirts, and really high heels. I was gonna tell them the nearest strip club is on the other side of town until I remembered that their are interviews going." Katherine rambled. "Oh wow. If there's a lot of women here, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed." "Good bye Alissa, I hope you get the job." she said again. "Okay, thanks." I made my way to the elevator and got in. I was about to press the button until a male voice interrupted me. "Wait, hold the door!" He said frantically. I held the door for him so, he can enter. Once he stepped in, he caught his breath and turned to face me. "Hey thanks for keeping the door open." "No problem." I responded. He was a very young looking blonde guy who looks like he is in his mid-twenties. His eyes were a winter green color not to mention that boy next door look. He reminded me of a prince I once read about in different stories. "I never saw you around here before. Are you new?" He asked curiously. "No, well hopefully. I'm here for a job interview as the personal secretary of the CEO. I'm really nervous actually. I heard there's a lot of people applying for the position." I responded. "Really? Well good luck. Working with Mr.Hunt is not going to be easy as some people would think. The man can cruel, arrogant, and even stubborn. He had over ten secretaries in the past six months. But the only thing good about working for him is that he pays his employees well." the man informed me. The elevator made a dinging noise signaling us that we were at our destination. When the door opened, we both got off. He started to walk off until I called after him. "Hey wait, I never got your name." I said. "My name is Carson. What's yours?" "Alissa." I told while we both shook hands. "Such a beautiful name for a beautiful person." He said while smiling at me. My cheeks started to heat up and turn a crimson red. I couldn't stop blushing. "Um, th-thank you. Your not so bad yourself." I grinned at him and he smiled back. Oh God. He has such a beautiful smile. That smile can make a blind person see how beautiful it is. We continue to flirt with each what felt like hours until we were interrupted. "I know we just met Alissa but, would you like to go out with we." He asked while rubbing the back of his neck. "Um, sure. I'll give you my number and tell me when you wanna go out." Carson and I got our phones out to exchange numbers. We were about to exchange phone numbers until we were interrupted by an angry voice. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!?!?"
