After their encounter, Elara decided to take Elias on a short tour of the world she had been transported to.
Elara showed him the sights, the bustling market where high-quality goods were plentiful and the chirping of birds around them was like a symphony to their ears.
She took him to a park full of blooming cherry blossoms, where they sat under large trees, to a local teahouse, where they sipped delicious, hot, fragrant tea and listened to the soothing sounds of traditional instruments.
The air was alive with the scent of blooming cherry blossoms as Elara and Elias strolled.
Sunlight streamed through the branches, painting the ground with various shapes.
"So, Elias," Elara said softly, catching his attention, "tell me about your world. What is it like?"
Elias was still adjusting, he took a deep breath. "Different," he said, a hesitant smile forming on his lips. "More... real."
"Real?" she asked curiously. "What do you mean?"
"Well... we don't have magic or strange animals or..." he paused, searching for the right words, "or anything we see here. What we have is technology, machines, computers and the like."
"Computers?" Elara's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "What are those?"
Elias chuckled slightly. "They're... machines that can process information, store data and connect people around the world."
"Connect people?" Elara's eyes narrowed. "You mean, like a connection of minds?"
"Not like that," he looked down, "they're... collections of information, a vast library of knowledge that anyone can access."
"That's strange..." Elara said. "Do you have books in your world, Elias?" Elara smiled slightly.
Elias noticed the delight in the beautiful woman's eyes as she learned about these things.
He hesitated before answering. "We have millions of books, filled with stories, poems, and all kinds of information." Elias replied.
The beautiful woman nodded. "And music?" Elara asked with a twinkle in her eye. "Is there music in your world?" she added.
"We have music too," Elias said in a low tone. "But different. More... electronic, instruments that create sound using electricity."
"Electronic?" Elara raised her eyebrows.
"Yes," Elias admitted, "There is music that is joyful, tearful, can make you dance or something beyond human imagination."
The beautiful woman drew closer to him. "Tell me more about your world, Elias," she said. "The things that are different here." she added.
As the sun began to set, Elara took Elias to a towering building. A five-star hotel where they would spend the night.
"This is the Crystal Hotel," Elara said, a hint of pride in her voice. "It's the most famous hotel in the city."
Elias was amazed by the beauty of the so-called Hotel in front of him. He had never been to a hotel like this, not even in his former world.
"I booked a room for us for the night," Elara said, her smile widening. "I hope you don't mind."
Elias was still half-dazed by the events of the day, so he simply nodded in response.
As they entered the hotel, the air grew cooler, filled with fragrant scents. The lobby felt like a special occasion, filled with marble floors, crystal chandeliers and scented velvet furniture.
Elara led Elias through the lobby to show him their room for the night. After a short walk, they reached an elevator.
The elevator was decorated in a style that was both elegant and futuristic, with polished silver walls and a soft, shimmering light.
Elara pressed the button and moments later, the door opened. As it closed, she pressed the button for the fifth floor.
After a few seconds, it stopped, the door opened and they were greeted by a hallway with a very clean floor.
She led Elias down the hallway, her steps silent on the plush carpet. They stopped in front of a door.
"Here it is," Elara whispered. "Our room."
One thought remained in her mind: how to live in this world.
