CHAPTER FOUR.

Lim Sara went home feeling tired, her body ached all over. She didn't even want to think about his encounter with Lee Si Han. All she needed at that moment was a warm water bath and a very good sleep. She could still smell Lee Si Han's natural scent on her, she blushed and quickly brushed off the thought.

“ I have a boyfriend, I shouldn't be thinking about other men,” she reminded herself.

Talking about her boyfriend, Kim Sara remembered she and An Ken Zi hasn’'t spoken for days now. Though she called him, he wasn’t taking his calls.

She brought out her phone and dialed his number, the call went through but he was picking.

‘I guess he is still very busy’, she mouthed to herself.

The An construction has been doing well lately since An Ken Zi took over from his father. And this made An Ken Zi so busy that he hardly even had time for a relationship. Lim Sara wasn't complaining at all. She will always wait for him. That she always assures herself.

Kim Sara finally got to the gate of their home, Lim Mansion.

She stood there looking at the gate. Like the saying goes, your home is your comfort zone, but in Lim Sara's case, her home is her worst nightmare.

Ever since she lost her mom, life had been unfair to her. Her peaceful home was shattered by her step mother, Jiang Feng.

Jiang Feng’s coming to the Lim Mansion threw Lim Sara's mother, Wei Jinxi into depression. Her body couldn't bear the pain her heart was carrying. She died waiting for her once beloved husband to come back to his senses.

Lim Sara snapped out of her trance, she opened the gate and headed to the lumber room where she lives.

Lim Sara had lived in the lumber room for ages. She was forbidden to walk around the house, she was forbidden to step foot on the sitting room. Lim Sara looked more like a shadow than a human being in the Lim Mansio, her father's house.

While Jiang Feng’s children,Lim Mu and Lim Mingche were permitted to do anything.

It hurt her so much anytime her father doted on Jiang Feng's children, which aren't even his biological children, and neglected her, who was his biological daughter.

Lim Sara accepted her fate and bore everything that was thrown at her.

CITY HOSPITAL.

Lee Si Han's face was distorted in rage. He refused to eat the food prepared for him. Ah Si his personal assistant was standing beside him, he got a call from Nan Fei that his boss was hospitalized.

Nan Fei was sitting on the couch, looking at his friend's face. He couldn't help but wonder why his pale face was looking so murderous.

‘Was he angry because of his missing phone, or he was angry because a woman called him a bonehead, or because he stopped him from going home’. Nan Fei asked himself inwardly.

“ Look Dude, I know you have a lot on your desk, but you can't continue risking your health like this,” Nan Fei said.

He didn't hear a reply from Lee Si Han, he continued.

“ I'm afraid I can't let you go, your wound needs to heal before you move an inch from this hospital,” he commanded.

Lee Si Han smirked, he stood up and picked up his suit. He had already changed out of his hospital wear.

“ Watch me leave this hospital,” he said in a daring voice.

Nan Fei stood up to stop him. There's no way he will allow him to leave this place with this fresh injury.

Lee Si Han shot him a glare, and Nan Fei quickly staggered back.

Lee Si Han walked to the door and noticed his assistant wasn't following him. He stopped and turned back.

“ You want to stay here on my behalf”? he shot at Ah Si.

Ah Si quickly ran to him, his legs shaking.

“ Boss, I think you need to listen to Nan Fei. He is a doctor and he knows what is good for his patients. Your wound isn't healed yet. Work can always wait, but your health is more important”. Ah Si said with a trembling voice. He didn't know where he suddenly got the courage to speak to his boss.

Lee Si Han nodded his head, Ah Si thought his boss has reconsidered. He was about to smile when he heard Lee Si Han's voice.

“ Alright, you can stay here and nag all you want. But If I don't see you in the office in the next ten minutes, kiss you job good bye,” Lee Si Han didn't waste another time there before he left.

Ah Si looked at Nan Fei in submission, and ran out as well. Of course, he isn't ready to kiss his job good bye.

LIM MANSION.

Lim Sara woke up from sleep feeling tired, she stretched her hands and could hear her bones cracking. She dipped her hand inside her bag to get her phone to see if An Ken Zi had returned her call, but she was disappointed when she saw no missed calls.

Just when she wanted to drop the phone, she noticed there was another phone inside her bag . She took the phone and looked at it closely. Her eyes widened in shock.

“ How did I have this in my bag”? She asked herself.

“ Agghh!” she shouted feeling frustrated.

“ Do I have to see that annoying jerk again”?, she asked herself.

‘Forget it Sara, you can just go and drop it at the hospital lobby. You don't need to see that bonehead ever again’. She thought , fuming in anger.

She put the phone back inside her bag. Just then, there was a knock on her door. She jumped up. ‘Who could that be’? She asked herself. No one has ever come here to see her except for her best friend Yang Xi. She could tell that the person at the door wasn't Yang Xi.

She gently walked to the door and opened it, and it the Lim Family nanny.

“ Your father asked for you presence”, the nanny said.

Lim Sara couldn't believe her ear, for the past eleven years, her father had abandoned her completely.

She was so surprised when she heard her father wanted to see her. She quickly changed her clothes, and ran off to the sitting room without wasting time.
