Daemon stepped out of the room. We exchanged gazes where he said, “She’s stabilized for now.” I nodded my head as I was about to enter until he halted my arm, “Let her rest, Lucifer. For now, a demon’s existence only makes her suffer. She can hardly breathe while I’m inside. Yours will kill her. Samuel will keep an eye on her.”
