The days leading up to our departure were a blur. When the day finally came, I sat in our closet, surrounded by small mountains of our things as I packed our bags for the journey.
Gale loomed in the doorway, attempting to break my silence with his presence. I shot him a glare, continuing to fold and place items within the confines of our luggage.
"If either one of them stay behind, you'll be denying them the honor to defend their Luna. You can't deny them that." He leaned against the door frame as he spoke.
"This is going to be dangerous. I will never forgive myself if those boys don't come home to their mates."
