Pulling off of the dock, I could feel Gale cautiously gauge my reaction to seeing the destruction I'd left in Seattle for the first time. It had been over a month since fate had led him to me, and construction had yet to begin to repair the remnants of the remaining buildings and structures.
"You okay?" Gale asked, giving my hand a gentle squeeze.
