I loomed above them all, eyes closed, frozen in midair as licks of power crackled from my fingers. My hair a fiery halo, falling freely down my back. The grand army, thousands strong, stood at attention behind, their eyes all fixated on the enemy as they waited for instruction.
A man stood on the battle field nearest me, his face and hands covered with thin, papery skin. I couldn't make out his face, but he seemed pleased with the display of power.
