Sofia

"They are right behind you. THEY. ARE. RIGHT. BEHIND. YOU." Victoria yelled at Lucas, stressing at the words the second time. A man appeared behind Lucas and Lucas was totally unaware of it, looting as much as gold as possible. Victoria huffed and threw the controller to the ground when 'GAME OVER' appeared on the screen in big block, bold, red letters. Meanwhile The old hagard woman in the guest room slowly opened her eyes and blinked when the light entered her vision. She groaned in pain, feeling dizzy and laid on her side. 'This bed is so comfy.' She thought with a sigh. She hurriedly opened her eyes as if in a panic and slowly got up, looking around the room. Her breathing intensified as she realized this isn't her room. Her room didn't have a comfy bed or a comforter, it had a very old worn out bed and rags for blanket. She glanced down at her body and saw her wounds all taken care off and healed, she did find some of them were even patched. 'Where am I?' She wondered and deduced that she was in no danger. She looked around her room once again, but this time to find something to defend herself with. Even though she wasn't in any imminent danger, it was better to be safe than sorry. Looking through the hallway cautiously, she slowly made her way out the door. She quietly walked through the house, observing everything she saw keeping a hand on her mouth to not make any noise. She took a shaky breathe when she stood in front of a portrait. She didn't care she would be found or she would be hurt. No. This portrait proved it wrong. She knew these people. The three girls. She knew them. Her eyes filled with tears as her eyes landed on one girl in particular. "Sofia." A voice called out in shock. Sofia turned her head slowly in fear. The voice seemed familiar yet so different. "Elizabeth." She said in a shaky voice. Are they all here too? Her husband and children too? "You're awake." Elizabeth said not believing what she was seeing and stepped closer. "Elizabeth." She cried out and hugged the young girl when she stepped closer to check her wounds. Sofia tightly wrapped her hand Elizabeth's body and pulled her close to her body. Elizabeth patted the older woman's back comfortingly, feeling sympathy for her. "Can I meet my daughter?" Sofia asked removing her head from the crook of Elizabeth's neck, in a tear filled gaze. "Luna....we don't talk to her." Elizabeth confessed nervously. How can you tell a woman that was believed to be dead that one of her daughter was assumed to be dead and the other children were not in contact with her. "No. Lucy." She said stressing the name. Elizabeth hesitated for a second, wondering how she should tell her. "She's....in a better place." She said chewing her lower lip. Sofia looked like she had something to say but Elizabeth pushed her away from the portrait and brought her to a different room. Since Sofia was still weak it was easier for the younger woman to push her. As she was being pushed, Sofia glanced at the photo one last time in confusion. Elizabeth brought her to the living room where Victoria and her boyfriend, Lucas were playing video games. "So you're telling me, not only do you wear glasses but also your blind." Victoria yelled and glared at Lucas, who looked at her sheepishly. "I wasn't looking." He defended himself. "Of course you weren't. YOU ARE BLIND." "Ignore them. They are much more pleasant to be around when they aren't playing games." Elizabeth said rubbing her forehead and asking God for patience. Her voice caught the attention of the two gamers, who turned to look at her. Lucas looked at the other woman questioningly while Victoria looked at her with a tinge of guilt. Nevertheless they both waved at her. "That is Lucas, my boyfriend and you know Victoria. People this is Sofia, our dead friend Lucy's mother." Victoria rolled her eyes at the way she addressed them and Elizabeth gave her a pointed look, emphasizing on the word 'dead'. "Ohh and we also have another friend. Vanessa." Lucas said making Elizabeth's eyes go wide in panic but looked normal before anyone could notice. Well, everyone except Victoria, who gave the former a knowing look. "Yea.... by the way, where is she?" Lucas asked looking at Victoria. "She got kidnapped." Victoria said nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders. Lucas was the one to usually panic in a situation like this, but he didn't seem too bothered knowing Vanessa can handle herself. At that moment the front door of the house was slammed open in a loud 'bang'. "Your brother is an asshole." Vanessa said walking through the door, pointing a finger at Victoria accusingly and glaring at her, who raised her eyebrow questioningly. Sofia gasped in surprise when she saw the girl that just entered the house. 'Lucy.'
