"But I already bought it!" He replied while his hands were pulling the bag opposite to mine.
"No can do." I strengthen my grip so that the bag will be in my hand. "I told you minors aren't allowed."
"So what?" He glared at me with his eyebrows frowning. "You are minor too, and why are you pulling my bag?!"
Bang!
With his words, I let go of my grip and that made him bump into the glass walls of the store. A small shelf attached to the wall had fallen and so the product displayed inside.
"Ouch!!" He jolted.
'This dumbass child is as stubborn as the previous one.'
The impact he made to the wall doesn't seem to be strong, but why is he being teary?
He was sniffling on the tiles with eyes that were starting to sob. The plastic bag that was filled with alcoholic drinks was still in his hand while his back was leaning on the glass wall.
I came nearer to him and offered him my hand.
"Asylene?"
When I moved my head to where the voice came from, I saw my boss who had a face dumbfounded.
"What in the store," He said while stepping closer to us. "What in the convenience store are you two doing!"
Christopher, who saw my boss barging towards us, quickly accepted my hand and stood up.
"I just trip my foot. I'm okay." He replied but his face doesn't show that he's okay at all.
"Oh My!" Her boss picked up all the mess and arranged the products that had fallen from the store's shelves. "Asylene, you can't just do that to a kid!"
"It was an accident." Asylene replied.
Her boss continued to pick up the remaining things. Asylene too, arranges the tables and chairs back to where they belong.
"What is this?!" Her boss asked while his hand was raising together with a canned beer that he had picked by chance on the tiles. The canned beer must have fallen from the bag that the young lad was holding.
Christopher, who was standing in the corner, was starting to sweat.
Even with both hands cleaning the table, Aylene's eyes were fixed at Christopher. It was rather fishy that her boss noticed it.
Christopher hid one of the plastic bags in the back of her. He smiled when Asylene's boss looked at him.
Her boss turned his face back to Asylene only to see a big shrug on her shoulder.
"Sighs." Her boss took a deep breath and went closer to Christopher who was being stiff in the corner. "Look, young lad. Alcohol isn't permitted for underage....."
"But, I'm not the one who'll drink it!....."
"Even so."
"Agree." I second the motion. "If we let you do that, we'll be imprisoned."
Christopher narrowed both of his eyes again, while avoiding our gaze looking at the ground.
"We'll refund you." Boss said, "How much was it, young lad?"
Christopher's lower lip protruded in a sulky pout as he slowly raised his hand handing us the plastic bag with alcoholic drink.
"Whatever, here." He said and his voice sounded like a grumpy person. "Don't refund me. I'm okay."
"That's it. You're such a good lad!" Boss complimented him.
Christopher turned his gaze to me again and moved his mouth, "Remember our deal." Then, he left the store with only one bag.
'As I heard earlier, his secretary is looking for him? No wonder he ran hurriedly.'

Kring Krrring!
The school bell rang, and Asylene was still inside the classroom sitting with her face resting on one of her palms while the other hand was holding Christopher's business card.
'For pete's sake, I badly need money right now.'
"Hello!" A classmate of mine was standing beside me waving her hand at me. "There's someone who is looking for you." He said while her hand was pointing toward the window of the room.
When I got to see where she was pointing at, I saw Shean's older brother having a big smile at me. "What's up, Asylene!"
I put all of my stuff back in my bag and stood up. "Sean? What brings you here with that big smile of yours?"
"My little sister, Shean, has something to tell you."
I grabbed my wallet out of my bag and went closer to him.
"Shean, is she sick or what? Why didn't she attend the class?" I asked him about his sister.
"Shean? Oh, no. She's not sick, she's just lazy."
"Haha." I gave him a gentle laugh. "You gotta help her since she's your sister."
Both of us were talking as we went to the canteen grabbing some snacks to eat. We then sat at one of the open tables. We're lucky we got to sit since this place is usually jam-packed with students from all grades.
"Hey Asylene, Shean told me that there is another part time job she discovered by chance."
"There is?- Ouch!
A sudden movement caused my back to be hit by someone at my back.
'We're not lucky at all.'
When I turned my face behind me, a crowd of students was forming again and they were bumping into each other and I was once again, a victim.
"This is a bit unfortunate, Asylene." Sean said after he saw the massive crowd. "We might not be able to get out of the canteen in the next ten minutes."
Inside the crowd, there was a group that every campus girl liked.「 The Campus' Heartthrob 」-It may sound a bit clichè, but yes it's normal for every university and school to have it.
They aren't just blessed with looks, but they are also blessed with status. I don't know their names and where they came from.
'Since I'm not really into that kind of stuff.'
Sean again, was waving his hand in front of my face to check if I'm spacing out or fantasizing.
"Uhm, You need to stop that thing Sean. My mind was still inside the canteen and not floating above the campus."
