Chapter 7 Jared's Curse

She woke up the next morning feeling tired and sluggish. Jared texted her. “I need my baby. I’ll be there soon.” He suddenly teleported there. He held unto her and ran his fingers through her hair. “No.” She said faintly. “You need me.” He whispered in her ear. He began kissing her and she craved his touch more. She kissed him back and he eventually he started kissing her neck. This sent shivers down her spine. Drake started calling her. He picked up the phone. “I’m busy kissing your girl.” “Drake help.” She said but he kissed her to keep her quiet. “I will kill you.” Hissed Drake. “Is that so?” Said Jared as he teleported to Drake’s office.

“This is my women now. If you would have married her in time she would have been safe. Now it’s too late. I think I might erase her memory so she never knew you.” “Don’t do that! I love her.” He put his wand on Drake’s neck. Lilly suddenly teleported there and hit Jared with a knock back spell. He fell to the ground. She stood in front of Drake. “You may have cursed me but I will never love you.” “You may not get to make that choice. He drew his wand at the both and cast a paralyzing spell. They fell to the ground. He went over to Lilly and kissed her so Drake could see. “See you soon my girl.” He teleported away. Drake’s assistant heard everything and rushed in to help them. He waved his wand and soon they could move. Lilly began shaking and went into shock.

“I need to get her to the school so her dad can help her but I don’t have my strength. “ “I will help sir.” He held onto both of them and they teleported to Alan’s office. “What happened?’’ asked Alan. “It was Jared who attacked us. We need to get him out of the school.” Said Drake. “I’ll go tell the headmaster. You two can’t be seen at the school.” “I’m not leaving my fiancé.” Drake said sternly. Lilly leaned on him. She felt so weak. Alan met up with Sirus and Jared happened to be talking to the headmaster. “Morse, you need to ban that professor. He isn’t a real professor. He is Jared, Drake’s boss. “You are lying.” Replied Jared.

“I’ll investigate this but until I have proof I won’t just kick him out.” “He attacked my daughter!” Said Alan angrily. “You will talk to me with respect! I’m going to ban you from campus for the rest of the day. Tomorrow you may plead your case.” “He did attack her!” Yelled Sirus. “Be careful or you will be gone too.” Warned Morse. Jared must have cursed Morse to agree with him. He smirked at them as they walked away. Professor Emma was with Drake and Lilly. “I heard what happened and gave Lilly a healing potion. She is resting for now.” “Thank you so much.” Said Alan.

“Sirus I can’t stay here to look after her so I’m trusting you.” “I will guard her with my life. He kissed Lilly on the forehead. “I will find a way to save you. I love you.” He then teleported.

“We will find a way to break this curse Alan.” Said professor Emma. “Sirus please keep watch on her in her room and keep the door locked. I will place a protection spell so hopefully he can’t teleport in.” Said Alan. They walked to her room while Sirus carried her. “I’ll work on some strength potions for her.” “Thank you Emma. I love you my princess.” Said Alan as he kissed her forehead. Sirus set her on her bed and locked the door. Alan placed a protection spell on the room.

Sirus covered her up and laid next to her. Holding her as she slept. He started crying. He wishes that Jared never met her. Suddenly her phone dinged. It said professor James. “I will have you soon my future bride. I won’t let anyone stand in my way.”

Sirus called Drake from Lilly’s phone. “Lilly are you awake baby?” “No Drake it’s me. Jared texted her she’s still sleeping. It says he’s going to make her marry him and will stop anyone in his way.” “Alan and I are trying to figure out something just please protect her. “ I will just please promise me one thing. Can I stay in her life even though she has you.” “Of course Sirus. Talk you you soon.”

He laid back down and held her tight. “I wish I had never met Lilly. Then she wouldn’t have been in danger.” “I work for you, he would have still found out about her. Don’t beat yourself up. I know you care about her. I’m sorry for pushing her towards Sirus.” “It’s ok I know you were just looking out for her. Jared is more powerful than anyone though. He can control whoever he wants. Lilly keeps trying to fight him but I see how tired she’s becoming.” “We will find a way to save her. Once I get back to school tomorrow I will keep him away from her.”
