Olivia's POV
"So this is what you call not stopping me," I said to Lucas.
"I'm sorry, Olivia, I really am. It's just for now. I can't let you take any risks at this time."
Aria seemed to be inspired by the situation and growled excitedly. I didn't say anything, just rushed towards Lucas at full speed and slammed into him hard.
He didn't dodge but instead easily caught my attack.
I took a step back in disbelief, and he still looked calm.
I knew Lucas was very powerful, with a strength I had never seen before, but even now it was beyond my understanding.
My strength was among the best in the Pack and I often beat many experienced soldiers, but I didn't expect Lucas to resist so easily.
Although I didn't want to admit it, I couldn't beat him now. I could feel it.
