When my eyes opened, the first I saw was Johann sleeping beside me.
I touched his face and stared at him for a long time.
I uttered as if I was talking to him, "Today is the day we will finalize our divorce, and I just want you to know that I never regretted a thing. I never regretted marrying you. I will never take back what happened last night."
I sighed and blinked twice, "If there was one thing I wish I could change, that's probably my agreeing to divorce you. But it's too late now, right?"
The luxury of watching the mighty Johann sleep like a baby was a great view. It was so captivating that I didn't hear the phone ringing for a while now.
