Sofia Gracia's eyes blazed with intensity as she stepped forward, her voice trembling with emotion. "I am the wife of Jack Martin, the man who dared to speak the truth about Eira II's role in Eira I's death. And I have proof, Valentina, proof that your mother was responsible for the death of Eira I." Valentina's face remained calm and composed, but a hint of steel crept into her voice. "I demand to see this proof, Sofia Gracia. If you have evidence that my mother was involved in Eira I's death, then I implore you, show it to me. But if you are simply making baseless accusations, then I warn you, Sofia Gracia, you will face the consequences of your actions." The crowd seemed to hold its collective breath as Sofia Gracia hesitated, her eyes darting back and forth as if searching for an escape route. But then, her face twisted in a snarl, she seemed to regain her composure. "Fine, Valentina. I will show you my proof. But mark my words, you will regret the day you ever crossed me." The crowd erupted into a chorus of gasps and murmurs, with some people calling for Sofia Gracia to be arrested on the spot. But Valentina raised her hands, silencing the crowd with a regal gesture. "Let Sofia Gracia speak, let her show us her proof. For if she is telling the truth, then justice must be served. But if she is lying, then she will face the consequences of her actions." Sofia Gracia's eyes flashed with anger, but she seemed to be savoring the moment, relishing the attention and the power that came with it. And as she smiled, a cold, calculating smile, Valentina felt a shiver run down her spine. For in that moment, she knew that Sofia Gracia was not just a grieving widow, but a woman driven by a hunger for revenge and a thirst for power. As the crowd dispersed, Sofia Gracia's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with malevolence. "Valentina, you have no idea what you're up against. I'll destroy your kingdom, and I'll kill you. And when I do, you'll know that I am the one who has been wronged, and that you are the one who has been blind to the truth." Valentina's grandmother, the wise and kind Queen Mother, smiled warmly as she approached her granddaughter. "Valentina, my dear, now that you have ascended to the throne, it is time for you to think about marriage and securing the future of our kingdom." Valentina's expression turned hesitant, and she shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "Grandmother, I don't think this is the right time. I have only just become queen, and I need to focus on stabilizing the kingdom and addressing the challenges that lie ahead." Just then, the door to the throne room burst open, and a young woman with a bright smile and sparkling eyes rushed in. "Sister, I'm so sorry I'm late! I came as soon as I heard about Mother's passing." Valentina's face lit up with joy as she rose from her throne to embrace her sister. "Lili! I'm so glad you're here. I've missed you so much." Lili Roux, the second daughter of Eira II and Valentina's younger sister, had been living 10 kilometers away from the kingdom, where she worked as a healer in a small village. She had always been close to her sister, and the two had shared a deep bond since childhood. As the sisters hugged, Queen Mother smiled warmly, happy to see her granddaughters reunited. "Lili, my dear, it's so good to see you. I'm glad you're here to support your sister during this difficult time." Lili's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she pulled back from her sister's embrace. "What's going on, Valentina? I've heard rumors of a book that claims Mother was involved in Eira I's death. Is it true?" Valentina's expression turned serious, and she glanced at her grandmother before responding. "We're still investigating the claims, Lili. But I assure you, we will get to the bottom of it and uncover the truth." Lili's eyes narrowed, her mind already racing with questions and suspicions. "I want to help, Valentina. I want to help you uncover the truth and bring justice to our kingdom." Valentina smiled, grateful for her sister's support. "I would like that, Lili. Together, we will face whatever challenges lie ahead and ensure that our kingdom is ruled with honesty and integrity." Sofia Gracia paced back and forth in her dimly lit chamber, her mind consumed by a burning desire for revenge and power. She had been wronged by the royal family, and now she sought to claim the throne for herself. As she muttered to herself, a plan began to take shape in her mind. She would need to be cunning and ruthless if she was to succeed in her quest for power. Just as Sofia was lost in thought, a soft knock at the door broke the silence. She turned to see a woman with piercing green eyes and raven-black hair slipping into the room. "Isa Arud," Sofia whispered, a hint of excitement in her voice. "I've been expecting you." Isa's eyes gleamed with a mischievous spark as she approached Sofia. "I see you're still as ambitious as ever, Sofia," she said, her voice dripping with admiration. "I must admit, I'm intrigued by your plans. Tell me, what do you propose we do to claim the throne?" Sofia's eyes flashed with excitement as she grasped Isa's hands. "We'll start by kidnapping Valentina," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Tonight, at 1:00, we'll sneak into the palace and snatch her from her bedchamber." Isa's eyes widened with excitement as she nodded eagerly. "I'm in," she whispered. "But we'll need to be careful. The palace guards are loyal to Valentina, and they won't hesitate to defend her." Sofia's smile grew wider as she pulled Isa into a tight hug. "Don't worry, my dear," she whispered. "I have a plan to take care of the guards. We'll be long gone before they even realize what's happening." As the two women parted, their eyes locked in a fierce and determined gaze. They knew that their plan was fraught with danger, but they were willing to risk everything to claim the throne and fulfill their ambitions. The clock struck midnight, and the palace grew quiet. Sofia and Isa slipped out of the shadows, their eyes fixed on the palace windows as they awaited the perfect moment to strike. At 1:00, they made their move, slipping into the palace through a hidden entrance. They crept through the darkened corridors, their hearts pounding with excitement and fear. As they approached Valentina's bedchamber, they could hear the soft sound of her breathing. Sofia's eyes gleamed with triumph as she pushed open the door and slipped inside. But as they reached for Valentina, they were met with a surprise. Lili Roux, Valentina's sister, was sitting in a chair beside the bed, her eyes wide with alertness. "What are you doing here?" Lili demanded, her voice firm and authoritative. Sofia's eyes narrowed as she sneered at Lili. "We're here for Valentina," she spat. "And you're not going to stop us." Valentina's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with the sight of Sofia Gracia and Isa standing over her, their faces twisted in sinister grins. But to their surprise, Valentina didn't scream or show any signs of fear. Instead, she smiled warmly and sat up in bed. "Sofia, Isa, what brings you here?" Valentina asked, her voice dripping with innocence. Sofia's grin faltered, and she exchanged a nervous glance with Isa. "We, uh, came to... discuss something with you, Your Majesty," Sofia stammered. Lili Roux, who had been sitting in a chair beside the bed, stood up and folded her arms across her chest. "I don't think that's true, Sofia," Lili said, her voice firm and authoritative. "You were going to kidnap Valentina, weren't you?" Sofia's eyes widened in surprise, and she took a step back, her hands raised in a defensive gesture. "No, no, that's not true!" she protested. But Isa, who had been quiet until now, spoke up, her voice dripping with malice. "Let's just kidnap her, Isa? Isa, let's—" But before Isa could finish her sentence, a group of soldiers burst into the room, surrounding Isa and taking her into custody. "Isa, you're under arrest for attempting to kidnap Queen Valentina," one of the soldiers declared. Sofia's eyes went wide with panic, and she turned to make a run for it. "No! I have to get out of here!" she exclaimed, dashing towards the door. But it was too late. The soldiers were hot on her heels, and they quickly apprehended her, dragging her back into the room. Lili turned to Valentina, a look of concern etched on her face. "Is this the same person who wrote that book?" she asked. Valentina shook her head. "No, actually, she's his wife... now a widow," she replied, her voice tinged with sadness. Lili's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, I see," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. As the soldiers dragged Isa away, Sofia was left standing alone, her eyes blazing with anger and hatred. "You haven't seen the last of me, Valentina," she spat, her voice dripping with venom. "I'll escape, and I'll come back for you." Valentina's expression remained calm and serene, but a hint of steel crept into her voice. "I'm not afraid of you, Sofia," she said, her eyes locked on the other woman's. "And I'll make sure that you never harm me or my kingdom again." Sofia's eyes flashed with anger, and she struggled against the soldiers who held her, but it was too late. She was dragged away, leaving Valentina and Lili to breathe a sigh of relief. But as they turned to leave, Lili's eyes narrowed in thought. "Valentina, do you think Sofia was acting alone?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Valentina's expression turned serious, and she nodded. "I don't think so, Lili," she said, her voice dripping with conviction. "I think there's more to this than meets the eye. And I intend to find out what's really going on." As the days passed, Valentina and Lili delved deeper into the mystery surrounding Sofia's attempted kidnapping. They questioned the soldiers who had apprehended Sofia and Isa, but none of them seemed to know much about the women's motives or affiliations. One evening, as Valentina and Lili sat in the throne room, pouring over documents and searching for clues, a soft knock at the door interrupted them. "Enter," Valentina called out, looking up from the papers in front of her. The door opened, and a young messenger boy stepped inside, bowing low. "Your Majesty, I have a message for you from the captain of the guard." Valentina nodded, taking the message from the boy. As she read the contents, her eyes widened in surprise. "What is it?" Lili asked, noticing the look on Valentina's face. Valentina handed her the message. "It seems that Isa, the woman who was arrested for attempting to kidnap me, has been talking to the guards. She's claiming that she was working for a secret organization, one that's been seeking to overthrow me and take control of the kingdom." Lili's eyes went wide as she read the message. "This is serious," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We need to find out more about this organization and who's behind it." Valentina nodded, her mind already racing with plans and strategies. "I agree. Let's summon the captain of the guard and question Isa further. We need to get to the bottom of this conspiracy before it's too late." As the two women set to work, gathering information and planning their next move, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were in grave danger. The secret organization, whoever they were, seemed to be powerful and ruthless, and Valentina and Lili knew that they would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. But Valentina was not one to back down from a challenge. She was determined to protect her kingdom and her people, no matter the cost. And with Lili by her side, she knew that she could face whatever dangers lay ahead. As the sun began to set on the kingdom, Valentina and Lili made their way to the dungeon where Isa was being held. They were accompanied by the captain of the guard and several heavily armed soldiers. As they entered the dungeon, Isa looked up at them with a mixture of defiance and desperation in her eyes. "So, you've come to interrogate me," she spat, her voice dripping with venom. Valentina stepped forward, her eyes locked on Isa's. "We want to know about the secret organization you're working for," she said, her voice firm but calm. "Who's behind it, and what's their goal?" Isa sneered at her. "You'll never get anything out of me," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. But Valentina was not deterred. She nodded to the captain of the guard, who stepped forward and handed her a small, leather-bound book. "This was found on Isa when she was arrested," the captain explained. "It appears to be some sort of codebook." Valentina's eyes scanned the pages of the book, her mind racing with possibilities. She looked up at Isa, a glint of determination in her eyes. "We'll crack this code, Isa," she said, her voice firm. "And when we do, we'll know everything about your organization and its plans. You might as well tell us now and save yourself the trouble." Isa's eyes flickered with uncertainty, but she quickly regained her composure. "I'll never tell you anything," she spat, her voice dripping with venom. Valentina smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "We'll see about that," she said, turning to the captain of the guard. "Take Isa to the interrogation room. We'll get the truth out of her, one way or another." As the soldiers dragged Isa away, Valentina turned to Lili, a determined look in her eyes. "We'll get to the bottom of this, Lili," she said, her voice firm. "And when we do, we'll make sure that those responsible pay for their treachery." Lili nodded, her eyes shining with determination. "We'll do it, Valentina," she said, her voice firm. "Together, we'll uncover the truth and bring justice to our kingdom."
