The Real Punishment

Chapter 3

Suddenly it was raining heavily. Akasa and Ishita were standing on the bus stop. Akasa messaged Mehul about her location. He reached there in that heavy rain to receive her.

"Hey! Akasa" Mehul said.

Then he said hey to ishita also by weaving her hand. He was on his bike in the rain.

"Why are you there in the rain? You are getting wet. Come under the shade." Akasa said.

"Come on! I have never seen the rain like this. I am enjoying it. Let's go home in this rain only." Mehul said.

"Are you serious? You will fall ill. Come here." Akasa said.

"Oh! There are hospitals present on earth for the treatment of illness. Don't worry nothing will happen. Come on! Dear." Mehul said while enjoying the rain.

Ishita said something in Akasa's ear.

"He is really so handsome. Yaar! Go with him for a romantic ride. He is waiting for you in the rain. I will manage to reach home when the rain will stop." Ishita said with a wink.

Akasa goes with him. He was riding the bike. Both were enjoying the rain. They were talking and laughing. They have gone very far in the rain.

Mehul then took her to her house. That day there was nobody in his house. All the family members were gone to his uncle's house.

"Go inside my sister's room and get your clothes changed there." Mehul said.

"OK" Akasa said.

After changing her clothes Akasa was sitting in the hall. Mehul brought two cups of coffee. He served coffee to her and sits there. They were talking while enjoying the coffee.

"You know what? I got wet like this in the rain for very first time. I just loved it." Akasa said.

"Honestly! Me too!" Mehul said.

"Really?" Akasa asked in shock.

"Yes, first time!" Mehul replied.

Both of them were drinking coffee. Suddenly stood up and goes outside. He plucked a rose from his garden and came. He was hiding that rose at the back and stood in front of Akasa.

"Akasa, I want to say something to you?" Mehul said.

"Yeah sure!" Akasa said.

He stepped forward and bent down in his knees. Then he showed that rose to her.

"I love you from the day I saw you for the first time in the vegetable shop. From that day only you and you are there. In my heart, in my mind, my surroundings, everywhere. I want to spend my whole life with you." Mehul said nervously.

There was a smile on Akasa's face. She took that rose from him and stood up from the sofa.

"I love you too. When I saw you first time my heart understood that only you are my soulmate." Akasa replied.

Mehul stood up and hugged her. He kissed on her forehead.

"You know! The god has send you only for me. I love you! I love you! I love you so much Akasa." Mehul said with happiness.

Then only the door bell rang. There was someone at the door. Both of them broke the hug.

"I think my family has arrived." Mehul said.

"Where do I hide?" Akasa asked him nervously.

"No dear! You don't have to hide." Mehul said.

He opened the door and saw all of them had came back.

"Namaste uncle! Namaste aunty! Hello Heena!" Akasa gave greetings to all.

"Who is she?" Mehar asked.

"Mom! She is my friend. She was getting wet in the rain while coming from her college so I took her home." Mehul said.

"Oh! You haven't told me earlier about her." Mehar said.

"You haven't asked earlier. Mom!" Mehul said with naughtyness.

"Naughty boy! Bad manners." Mehar said while slapping on his head lovingly.

All of them started laughing. Akasa introduce herself to all family members one by one. They treat her like their daughter not like a guest. Akasa also became comfortable with them in no time. She was really happy to meet Mehul's family.

All of them had lunch together. After that Mehul dropped her to her house.
