CHAPTER TWO: REBORN BUT....

Nico sat quietly in a bed, in what it seems to be a room in a hospital. still shock to see himself in a different body but what most troubles him is what happened? Why can't he remember anything at all? While thinking this things he heard a buzz from the side.
"What is this?" He grab the cellphone on the desk and saw a flash on the screen. One new message is what it says, he opened it and after reading the message he became more confuse. The text says:
'Today you will begin your new life, as what in the contract states'
"What the heck is this?!" Confuse he flop back to his bed and assist the situation on himself, 1: he knows he is someone from the past, 2: he is awaken in a different body, 3: what is that about with the strange text. all this is making his head ache with questions that no one will probably answer.
"Is he awake!?"
Suddenly someone shouted from outside, Nico
was startled and then right on cue a tall figure had barge into his room as the nurse is following right behind him, the loud bang of the door has echoed in the room and two bright violet eyes went straight to his and suddenly before he could react he was being crush in the strangers arms.
"Ack..!" Nico struggled as this huge stranger continues to hug him tighter, he could smell the intoxicating smell from the man and it is as if his body could tell that this person is very important to him or to the owner of the body.
"Tomi-chan I thought.. I thought.. Sob." The man could not finish his sentence as he hugged Tomonori who is Nico, Nico on the other hand instinctively push the man away from him but the overwhelming strength is to much from him.
"C-Can't.. B-Breathe..!" He struggled again trying to push the man away.
"Sir! The patient can't breathe!" The nurse shouted sending the signal to the man to loose his grip and face Nico, his eyes are wet from tears. Nico stared into the features of the man and questioned himself, who is this? Is this a relative?
"Please refrain from attacking the patient sir! and please move away, we must check the patient." The nurse lectured the huge man and walked towards Nico to check on him, then a doctor came in along with another nurse.
"So he has awaken." The doctor stated and went on to check on his vitals, the heart rate on the machine and so on while Nico just stood there still feeling unconscious as two violet eyes are staring at him intensely.
"U-Uhmm.. Excuse me." Nico started, no longer he can ignore those intense eyes he called on to the man leaning on the wall.
"Yes?" The man answered quickly, Nico knew that this person must be important to the owner of his body but he doesn't know him at all and it will be awkward to act that he knows him at all.
"Who are you?" Nico ask and those intense eyes became wide as he look at the medical staffs, then to Nico again.
"W-What..?"

"It seems that the patient have an amnesia sir." The doctor said, both Nico and the tall man look at each other. after saying those words and being checked by the doctor who were surprise that Nico had an amnesia he ask for the both of them to come to his office to assess the situation.
"B-But doctor! I thought the operation w-went well and he did not hit his head that hard!" The tall man protested while Nico just sat there looking down on his hand that is surprisingly small unlike his big ones in his old body.
"Calm down young man, they still be a possibility for the patient to lost his memories due to to much blood loss from his upper body, the shock might have affected his brain and it resulted to memory loss." The doctor explained, with a heavy heart the tall man look into Nico who seems to be just sitting quietly and listening to the both of them converse, he sighed. He thought its ok as long as he is alive, he could not ask for more.
"Is.. Is his memories will comeback?" The tall man ask, he is hoping for a good answer though he thought that maybe he is asking to much might jinx the situation into something unreasonable, the fact that Tomonori is alive and well is good enough but, all their precious memories and bond will that be never be restored anymore?
"This might be just a temporary memory loss, for now guide him carefully, show him to the places that you two used to go or do things that the two of you used to do, it may help him recover his memories." the doctor explained, the man was relieved and look back at Nico who is looking at him with a question mark written on his face, he smiled. It's alright they will just do the things they used to do, go to the place they always go and he will make Tomonori remember his place in his life.
"Let's go home." The tall man stood up and took Tomonori's hand, Tomonori who is now Nico just followed the tall figure. He figured it would be best to just go with this stranger and surprisingly his body is reacting differently like he knows him so well, so well that he felt as if they already touch skin to skin.
"H-Huh?!" Nico blushed at the sudden thought, he cannot explain it but his body just felt so warm and fluffy he did not dared to explore those thoughts further and just watched the tall man talk to the counter of the hospital and just moments later the tall man walked towards him with a huge sport bag on his shoulder.
"Should we go?," The tall man ask, Nico just look at him and gave a nod.
"Don't worry, you will soon know who I am and who am I to you, Tomonori." The tall man smiled and grab Nico's hand and together they step out from the building.

Extra scene: In Death Department
"Hmmm..maybe I should have given him a more concrete text instead of a vague one." Catu rummage from his stack of papers while thinking about the start of his.. Experiment.
"Oh well~ The soul is bound to get a lot of good stuffs fufu~ now time to move grim reaper." He laughed and continued to rummage through his stack of papers and finally found the one his is looking for.
"Here it is." The being smiled and look in to the file that says 'Itsuki Tomonori'.
