DEMON LORD: {LAUGHS} You cannot keep me locked up here

GOD HEK: {looks at him} It was never in my hands to destroy you.

DEMON LORD: {continuously laughing} Too bad the gods are too weak that they look for a human to do their job

GOD HEK: {stands up} Watch your mouth, remember who stands before you

DEMON LORD: {laughs loudly that the underworld shook} I have never acknowledged the gods, {pauses and continues} your powers have grown weak, I have thousands at my command in the realm of the mortals and your mortal who you used your power to forge will die.

GOD HEK: {smiles} Remember the prophecy, light will always overcome

DEMON LORD: {frowns} Damn the prophecy, wait till I recover my powers; you shall see me ascend to the heavens and destroy all who were against me. I will spare you and you will serve me.

GOD HEK: {speaks with disgust} Even at my last breath I will never do such {demon lord bursts out in laughter and

continuously as Hek uses his power to seal back his prison. He says to himself} the boy should act fast.

Scene shifts

DIA: {confronts Diamon} We lost him my lord

DIAMON: What! How could you?

AIMONA: {cuts in} My lord I think he is making his journey to the temple of Oasis

BOLOS: {clears his throat} Hmm, seems the fight have begun already

DIAMON: {looks at both} Bring him back alive {both nods and turns to leave}

TOS: Wait, {both turns} remember the prophecy; at this point of his journey, he will not be alone {both nods and leaves}

Scene shifts

KRATOS: {mumuring} How will I even locate the temple of Oasis. I don’t even have a map or someone to take me there.

He senses danger, turns back and sees people after him. He runs and was shot by an arrow and the light fides for him

Scene shifts

THALOR: {looking at Kratos and turning to his dad} Are you sure he is still alive?

DAD: {making the fire} He is still breathing for sure {confirms}

THALOR: {Joins his father near the fire} We just have to wait then

KRATOS: {struggling to sit up} Where am I?

DAD: {turns back} Easy boy, the poison hasn’t yet subsided

KRATOS: {confused} But I was being chased by ......

THALOR: {cuts in immediately} We saved you

KRATOS: {managed to sit down} Thank you. But who were those people?

DAD: {answers} That’s the demon clan, they destroy everything in their path

KRATOS: {not satisfied with answer} Why are they after me?

DAD: {answers} It is because you are the incarnate of the god of balance; Hek

KRATOS: {confused} How?

DAD: You know don’t you {Kratos confused and he turned to his son Thalor}

THALOR: My name is Thalor {Kratos looks at him} and this man you see here

{Kratos looks at Thalor’s father} is my father. The prophecy foretold {Kratos looks back at him} of a great evil that

will return, an evil that almost caused the destruction of mankind 200 years ago. That evil has been awakened. The prophecy also speaks of a boy chosen by the gods to bear the weight of the world in his shoulders; for the demon clan to be after you it only means one thing, you are the child foretold to destroy the demon lord once and for all.

KRATOS: {nods} All these are kind of new to me, but I need to get to the temple of Oasis

THALOR: {CONTINUES} The temple is a mystical place where it is said that the realm of the gods connects with the realm of humans. It has never been found before, but since you are the

son of Hek, I don’t think it will be a hard task after all.

DAD: {cuts in} Actually, it will be, {Kratos and Thalor looks at him} with the demon clan after you it will not be easy

KRATOS: This thing you people say is my destiny, how can I even accomplish it {pauses}, if {continues} you can tell me how to find this temple, I will be grateful.

DAD: {continues} The journey is far too dangerous to walk alone, you will journey together with my son Thalor {Thalor

looks at him}. He will be of great assistance to you.

KRATOS: Thank you, but I don’t want to place my burden on anyone.

DAD: The journey you are to take is far beyond you; boy. {Kratos wanting to speak but Thalor cuts in}

THALOR: You are right {Kratos looks at him} tomorrow we make our journey, this world belongs to us, and we must fight

to keep it safe. I don’t mind taking up this task; all of us will still die one day. {Kratos nods}

In the morning

DAD: {calls Thalor as they prepare to leave} My son, in as much that the temple of Oasis is a myth; our forefathers believed in it, take this {hands him a map} it will guide you through your journey. {Thalor nods} May the gods be with you.

KRATOS: Don’t worry sir; he will be safe {Thalor’s father nods and both leaves}

Scene shifts

THALOR: {complains} why are you always this quiet? {Kratos snubs him} I am asking you a question {snubs him again, Thalor comes in front of him and Kratos stops} I am asking you

something.

KRATOS: {let’s out a sigh of relief} I wasn’t always this cold; those savages came and destroyed everything I hold dear.

THALOR: {taps him on the shoulder} I understand; life has to go on. You cannot continue living in the past.

KRATOS: {looks at him} This mission is more important to me than anything.

THALOR: If that’s it; we keep moving {tries to forge ahead}

KRATOS: No; {Thalor stops} We make tent, night is fast approaching

THALOR: {they have already made fire, and they are warming themselves near it} Tell me about your life

KRATOS: {looks at him and turns to look back at the fire and continues warming himself} My childhood used to be very fun. I would go out with my friends and play; my mom would scold me a lot for different and even minor things. My dad passed away when I was ten and since then life has been hard for my mom, sister and I. Now I hear of a prophecy that says that I must save the world. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know what I am doing anymore.

THALOR: {after listening to him patiently} I can understand your pain; I knew what I and my dad had to go through when

my mom died. {tries to make him smile} You know the worst thing I hate is when my dad drags my ear {Kratos smiles} You know when I was little; he would drag my ear and use it to lift

me. You know sometimes .......

KRATOS: {sensing something and cuts in immediately in Thalor’s words} Shh I feel something

THALOR: {Draws his sword} What?

KRATOS: {listens closely} I think; I hear music and celebration of a kind

THALOR: {puts back his sword} Well nothing to worry about. {Kratos looks at him} Lets go and find out what’s happening and if they are kind enough to give us some meat. {Thalor starts following the sound of the music, Kratos follows and they get to

the place} Well there is really a great feast here; let's join the show.

KRATOS: {drags him back} Are you blind or do you choose to?

THALOR: {looks back at him} What? {releases his hand from Kratos grib}

KRATOS: {points out} They are cannibals. They are going to feast on that person over there {Thalor looks at the girl tied up} We will turn to their feast let alone asking to join them

THALOR: {looks back at Kratos} So what are we doing?

KRATOS: {lets out a deep breath} We must rescue the girl

THALOR: {nods} So, what’s the plan?

KRATOS: {Pauses} I {continues} will cause a distraction while you rescue the girl

THALOR: {nods} great plan

KRATOS: {looks at Thalor} Give me the saw dust you have and your sling {Thalor hands him over the things and changes a location near the tied lady. Kratos swings the saw dust with the sling into the fire, and it increases the fire; with that commotion; Thalor untied the girl and they escaped}

THALOR: {laughing after the ran back to where they made fire} That was fun

KRATOS: {looks at him} It will be funnier when they catch up to us. We must leave here at once; cannibals are dangerous

hunters {they carry their bags and leaves immediately with the girl}

THALOR: {after they have gone far and they are near a river; looks at the girl} You are safe now {Kratos turns back to look at her while he was washing his face in the river}

KRATOS: {stands and looks at the girl} We will get you to a safe route where you will continue your journey

ANDROMEDA: {tries to speak up} I am Andromeda; Please don’t send me away, I ran away from my house, they wanted to sell me.

KRATOS: {interested in what she has to say} What do you mean? Do your own parents want to sell you?

ANDROMEDA: {answers} I don’t even know who my parents are {bends her head}

THALOR: {looks at Kratos} We are very sorry

KRATOS: {gives Thalor a look which signals him that he wants

to talk with him in private; Thalor stands and meets him and they start talking} I don’t think we should trust her

THALOR: {turns back and looks at her} Look at her; I think she should join us.

KRATOS: {considering} Don’t you think she will slow us down and what does she have to contribute to our journey

ANDROMEDA: {pushes Thalor bag by mistake and sees the map} I {both turns} can help you get to the temple of Oasis.

KRATOS: {interested} And how will you do that?

ANDROMEDA: {answers} I am a navigator; I drew maps for people when I was serving as a slave. The temple of Oasis is a myth, but I have always wanted to behold such a temple; If this

map is accurate, I can get you there

THALOR: {Kratos turns back to Thalor} I guess she has a use after all {Kratos nods}

KRATOS: {looks at back} If you could catch up then we move {she nods and smiles}

Scene shifts

GOD TUN: How is the boy doing?

MESSENGER: {answers} He is heading to the temple of Oasis

GOD TEK: {cuts in} Seems the prophecy is going as planned

MESSENGER: {cuts in} Very well my lord, He is even travelling with two others and in time; I believe in time two others will

join in the quest.

GOD TUN: {speaks after he nods} If this boy is the incarnate of Hek; we must help him in his quest {turns to the messenger}; get the arrow and its bow and a sword. That will be of help in

his journey.

MESSENGER: {agrees} Yes, the great deities of Heaven {he leaves}

GODDESS HERNA: Too bad the prophecy speaks otherwise of his quest

GOD TEK: {turns} What do you mean?

GODDESS HERNA: {answers} The prophecy speaks of a betrayal among his crew

GOD IEUS: {speaks} The prophecy have never been straight, if it speaks of a betrayal, I believe in the judgement of Hek and if the power of Hek is in the boy; he will overcome.

Scene shifts

THALOR: Navigator where are we heading?

ANDROMEDA: {answers} From the map; it is 20km south, but the normal route is dangerous; we will have to take the longer route

KRATOS: That is from the mountains

ANDROMEDA: {nods} Yes

TROOP LEADER: {a bunch of people that protect the territory Kratos and his crew is going through; stops them and starts

questioning them} Who are you?

KRATOS: We are unarmed. We mean no harm; we are only using this route to reach our destination

TROOP LEADER: {orders his men} Lower your swords {repeats it again} The prophecy has been fulfilled

THALOR: If you can let us; we will be on our way

TROOP LEADER: You would like to meet our chief

KRATOS: {before the chief} A pleasant day sir, we meant no harm; we just have to go through this route to reach our

destination.

CHIEF: {nods} Don’t be afraid my boy, No one has followed this route for the pass 200years; you are following this route only means that you are the incarnate of Hek. The prophecy speaks

of you going through our path to reach the great mystic temple.

THALOR: Thank you Sir but there is no time to waste

CHIEF: I must agree with you; but please do us the honor to have you stay for a feast

THALOR: {turns to Kratos and he nods} A night will not be a problem

CHIEF: {sends one of his guards to call Kratos while the feast was being held} My boy

KRATOS: {cuts in immediately} I am very grateful for what you have done for I and my friends

CHIEF: I would love you to take someone along in your quest

KRATOS: I am very grateful,, but I think the mission is far too daring to allow another to join us.

CHIEF: I understand but she will be of good help to you

KRATOS: She? {wanted to continue; the girl enters and he is immediately captivated by her beauty}

CHIEF: {looks at her} Kratos. This is Helena; I have trained her for this day; for this day has been written in her fate.

KRATOS: {nods} Very well Sir. If she can keep up; we will be gone early tomorrow {he looks at her and leaves}

CHIEF: {says to himself} I believe he will get to know later his connection with her

THALOR: {after they have left early the next morning and they are on their journey} I think we are letting many people on this task {talking to Kratos}

KRATOS: {answers} This task is more than a man; we need as much help as we can get.

THALOR: {looks behind and turns back to talk to Kratos} But I think we are more than enough

KRATOS: {responses} I think the ladies need each other; It is balanced that way

THALOR: {frustrated} Have it your way

KRATOS: {senses something} Stop I think I heard something {gives a signal} this way

THALOR: {sees a guy cut up in a trap} What are you doing up there

THERON: My name is Theron and I am cut up in this trap

KRATOS: This might be a trap for us let us go

THERON: Wait; you seek the temple of Oasis; I can help you find it

THALOR: How do you know about that?

THERON: {laughs} I am more than what you see? I am a wizard and I can clear certain thorns off your path

KRATOS: {cuts in} Wizards possess magical powers; If you are one; free yourself

THERON: I am; but I need my stick down there; just gimme my stick; I will be out of here in no time

KRATOS: {picks up the stick} Here {he gives it to him}

THERON: {after he freed himself} To who do I owe this pleasure

KRATOS: {shakes him} Kratos and these are my friends {introduces them}

THERON: So; son of Hek; you seek the temple of Oasis. I believe, I can be of service

ANDROMEDA: {cuts in} Having a wizard isn’t a bad idea, is it?

KRATOS: I think we will be needing a magic tailoring {looks at Theron} Keep up {Thalor not happy with this}

The prophecy speaks of five in the quest to save humanity, but it also speaks of four accomplishments. It speaks of a betrayal among one of the five; who will it be?
