“…The drink is full right? I saw a glass from the table half empty after the contestant passed; meaning it doesn’t have to be fully be empty for it to take affect; and that would possibly be the case if two contestants drank half and half with their truths.” Ryder looked at the Brewmaster, but somehow, he didn’t reach. The contestant took a pause of silence as he considers Ryder’ theory; but Ryder could tell, he didn’t want anyone to die. “So… have you considered it?” “…Okay, I’ll work with you” said the contestant as he drank the glass until it was only half, then gave it for Ryder to drink. Before Ryder grabbed the glass, he nodded at the contestant; drink what’s left of the gin. And after he placed the glass down, it seemed to have work. Nothing happened, and no one choked into their deaths. They both sighed in relief… but as Ryder was about to leave the table “AHHHHHH!” The contestant suddenly screamed, making Ryder panic and tried to help him; but he was stopped. The Brewmaster forced him to sit still on his chair as the contestant burned in front of his eyes. He could only watch as the body turned into a burned corpse. “I… I don’t understand…” said Ryder sadly “… Of course you don’t, you didn’t even think of planning it fully.” The Brewmaster began to walk over to the bar, grabbing something, “But you were right about one thing; that more than one person can drink from the glass, so more can be saved for each question.” Then the Brewmaster slowly walked over to him as Ryder while his hands were on the table, “But you forgot one thing: the difference, between half a truth and half a lie…” the Brewmaster explained, making Ryder’s eyebrows curl up. “If you recall the last contestant — who was sure he done the deed but didn’t — still died, was because it was only in his mind — his fantasy turned into reality; is a lie — will always be a lie” he continued to explain. “That is the case with the one who burned in front of you.” “But… what about me?” asked Ryder. “… You have half a truth; you believe that you killed someone, because you have done something to them that most likely made them dead; but that is not the case, for the one you thought is still alive, yet you really did the deed of almost killing them…” The Brewmaster inched close to Ryder, at breathes reach, “Since there is a truth, you can live… but.” Suddenly, a sharp pain waved over Ryder’s arm as the Brewmaster’s knife he used before was plunged deep into his hand, “AHHHHHH,” screamed Ryder in his pain. “… That is your punishment,” said the Brewmaster, before quickly pulling out the knife from Ryder’s.” Ryder was left grunting in pain as Drew and Larah went up to help him cover the wound, but they were told by the Brewmaster, “Now, the game has ended; you may all go now.” “… Or else I will be forced to burn you…”
