After what seemed like minutes, but in reality was only fifteen seconds, I stood up. I walked around the room, touching my familiar possessions as I walked past them. Then I got the idea to go outside. My heart sunk at the fact that if I went outside, I would see everything that was destroyed. Everything that was taken from me.
