When they entered the bar she used her eyes to scan. When she didn't see any familiar face she then acted extra sick and asked to use the restroom.
Once she was in it she sighed in exhaustion. If she could she would take out her disguise and the man wouldn't recognise her.
But she couldn't risk any of those workers seeing her.
She decided to wait for ten minutes more before going out.
Maybe the man would be gone by then.
As she was waiting, she heard some people coming and quickly rushed into one of the toilet cubicles.
Three girls walked in and they were talking about something.
One of the girls with brown hair spoke. “I hope the feud between RedFang and BloodPeak pack ends soon.”
Another one chirped in “I heard it's more then personal, involving some business of sort”
“They were like brothers, I wonder what happened. I just hope the feud won't affect us…” the third one sighed.
Alissa waited till they were done with their various businesses before going out.
She heaved a sigh of relief. She had to go out now.
She was curious about their conversation but she would ask James about it later.
She had already been in here for long and she had limited time.
She had to make it back to the base before they noticed her absence.
She went out to the bar and the music mixed with the klinking of glasses and light conversations was a contrast to the cold walls she grew used to.
She scanned the crowd for any familiar face. And there he was. Alpha Erwin, donning a crisp white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and top buttons undone and black slacks.
He looked relaxed even as his features remained cold and unreadable.
She smiled.
She then noticed another person. Her informant and probably only friend. James.
What a coincidence.
He signalled something quietly with his with eyes and head. She just nodded subtly in understanding.
She took a paper wipe from the counter and turned away from the people were. She then cleaned off her lipstick and whatever changes she made to her appearance.
She contemplated removing the black wig but then she decided to not take that big of a risk. He would probably be able to recognize her in the future through her face.
Removing the makeup was a big risk because any of those men might recognise her but she had to do it.
This was her chance, he was finally here after years of waiting and hoping.
She had to take the risk.
She arranged her appearance as best as she could and she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened them she was like a whole different person.
The older ladies were taught how to please men and how to be seductive. Growing there she had also been taught but she was still inexperienced as she had never done anything with anyone before.
But if there was one thing she perfected herself in, that was acting. And she was always ready to use it to her advantage.
She finally turned around with a mysterious aura to her. She walked while swaying her hips and passed by the luxurious cushion where Erwin was sitting.
While passing by she turned her head slightly and made direct eye contact with him. He was taking a sip of the amber liquid in his glass then.
Even as she averted her gaze and faced forward in a confident stride, she could still feel his gaze on her back.
She smirked, her plan was working.
She sat in a place not too far from him and not too near either.
And in her seat, if she just turned slightly to the side, she could face him directly.
And she did just that.
She sat to the side with her legs crossed elegantly.
It wasn't even up to a minute since she sat down that a man wearing luxurious clothes approached her.
She politely declined him. After that two others came and were also rejected. After all she was very pretty and attracted attention.
All these were being observed by Erwin and she knew it.
So she counted to three. ‘One, two three,’ this was it. She then moved her gaze and their eyes met once again.
This time neither looked away. Then slowly her lips curved up seductively. An inviting smile.
Erwin didn't smile, his expression was normal, but his amusement showed in his eyes.
He raised a finger and signaled her to come with it.
She stood up without breaking eye contact and walked seductively towards him.
When she got there she sat directly on his lap even though there was a lot of space.
She was acting all tough and brave but she was very nervous inside. She just hid it well.
“You have no scent”, that was the first thing he said to her after she was comfortable on his lap.
She looked at him, “I don't have a wolf” she deadpanned. It's not something she was ashamed of.
He raised a brow in amusement. “Okay. What's your name and what pack do you belong to”. He asked her.
“I belong nowhere, my name is Alissa” she then took the piece of paper she held ever since and put it in his hands. “Read this after I've left to know more about me”.
“So, what's our dear alpha king doing at such a place so late at night” she asked seductively, leaning closer.
His eyes widened a fraction in surprise. He surely thought she was weird. Her whole approach was…. different, but he didn't find it offensive or bad.
Instead of answering, he asked his own question “and what is a young girl like you doing in such a place so late at night”. He said in a low husky voice, leaning even closer.
She raised her slender hands and ran her finger through his hair. Admiring him to her satisfaction. His deep blue eyes were so intense and always seemed to pull her in.
She put her nose into the crook of his neck and took in his scent. She couldn't get much because she didn't have an advanced sense of smell like others but she loved his scent.
She ran her hands over his muscles and planes to get the feel of him imprinted in her mind.
She kissed his neck and along his jaw. Not caring if people watched.
To Erwin she was just touching him but to her she was revering him and marking him.
Soon she felt something hard beneath her, before she could think more of what it was. One of the men suddenly spotted her and subtly gave her a look.
She sighed inwardly and stood up. They didn't want to make a scene but she knew how this would end. It would be way worse than other times because they saw her with someone.
She kis
sed Erwin on the cheek and whispered to him “See you again, my Alpha”.
She then walked away without looking back.
