Bad feeling

Well whatever happened after that was now history. She didn't care, she just wanted him to come back. It's been two years now but still… She knew he would come, she knew it deep down. Before she finished treating her wounds the door burst open and an younger girl with ginger hair and freckles rushed in. “Rebecca is going into heat, we need your help”. The girl said frantically. ‘Here we go again’ Alissa thought. Young girls seperated from their packs and families. Going into heat in a den of thirsty wolves. The ladies have to help them of course. The men might not_ scratch that, will not be able to control themselves. So a protocol was put. Most girls were put on heat suppressors when the time was close. But sometimes the heat seemed to break through. Though it was rare, it happened. And Alissa was one of the girls that were supposed to make sure everything was in order when that time came. It was one of her jobs here. After all the men couldn't be involved. She rushed out without a word. She could get the sweet scent of someone in heat. Just as much as a human could smell. She couldn't imagine how the werewolves with wolves were handling it. It sometimes even affected the females. When she got to that hallway there were two feral men banging on the door with force. On the verge of breaking it down. Their eyes were red and they were snarling to be let in. Some women and kids were huddles around. Scared. No other men were around. It seemed they evacuated on time. The female guards and workers – yes, there were females in this sick business – were dragging trying to drag them off but their strength paled in comparison to two grown ass men. Alissa paused for a moment to observe the madness. She then looked around for anything. A small storage room where a lot of junk and unused stuff were stored was nearby, so she opened it. Soon she found a big and long piece of wood. With the wood in her hand, she approached the crowded area. She didn't rush, she moved slowly. Even letting the long stick drag on the tiled floor and make some noise. The people in her way slowly moved away. When the female workers saw her they also moved away warily. Everyone watched as Alissa raised the wooden stick as high as she could and hit the first man so heavily on the head. Deafening silence followed. Everyone was shocked. But she wasn't done yet. Before the second man could snap out of his desire filled haze and realised the danger. He was struck so hard that the stick finally broke into two. The two men were on the floor. Blood slowly pooling around them. Alissa tossed the stick aside and dusted her hands together. “There we go, problem solved”. At least she was sure they wouldn't die. After all they had fast healing abilities. She turned to the crowd that was staring at her with eyes wide and mouths open. She spread out her hand in question “what?”. In the face of her question everyone looked away, some even scurried away back to their tiny rooms. Alissa sighed, put her hands on her waist and looked at the female workers. “I'll leave the rest to you, better hurry up before they wake up and cause more ruckus”. She then turned and walked back to her room. When she entered the girl she shared the room with, Sarah was there. Sarah was a young girl with pretty green eyes and black hair. She was very pretty but she was among those that didn't like Alissa for some reason. Alissa didn't pay her any attention and put back the first aid kit in it's place and then she went to take a shower in the cramped bathroom. While dressing up she stared at the long scar on the left side of her stomach. It was a horizontal scar just below her chest. She traced it with her fingers. It was from two years ago. The punishment she got after she snuck out and met Erwin in the bar. Immediately after she got dressed there was a knock on the door. She frowned, her brows furrowed. She wondered who it was by this time. She went and opened the door. It was a woman dressed in a crisp blue suit. She was accompanied by the two workers that were trying to subdue the men earlier. She raised a brow, really? They were going to make a big deal out of that event? The woman looked to be in her thirties. Her hair was packed neatly into a low bun. Not a strand out of place. When she spoke her voice was smooth but firm “Ms. Alissa. You will have to come with me. Mr. Marcel would like to have a word” the woman said. Mr. Marcel, that name. She had only seen him once, and she never wanted to recount that day. He was the person in charge of this whole place, including the bar, casino, lounge and club. She looked at the woman carefully from head to toe. Trying to read or perceive anything. And she got nothing. She had a really bad feeling about this. “Give me a moment to change”, Alissa said. She was dressed in a baggy t-shirt and shorts and her hair was messy. If she was going to meet that man again at least she had to be prepared this time. When the door was closed she l eaned against it and took a deep breath, not caring if Sarah saw. This was going to be a very long night.
