To the pack house

Erwin just looked at the little slave he purchased. She was exceptionally beautiful, he couldn't deny. But that was all she was to him. He didn't speak a word to her and just calmly closed the car door and moved to the other side. He got in and sat down. As their car slowly drove away from the massive fun centre in the city, a small smile stretched across his otherwise cold features. The building was getting smaller and smaller as they drove away. Then he counted in his mind. ‘three, two, one…’ BOOM! Immediately he got to one a loud explosion went off in the building they left not long ago. He smiled fully then. Mission accomplished. As for Alissa, she was so startled that she jumped up and immediately turned around. She was breathing hard as she watched the place where she spent most of her life in go up in flames. She didn't expect the explosion. Their car even narrowly escaped from it. And it wasn't just one. Multiple explosions went off at once. What of the others… was everyone going to die? Why did it feel like the incident ten years ago was repeating itself. She turned to the man beside her. “Did… did you do that?” She asked in a slightly shaky voice. The smile was gone from his face by then. He just looked back at her. “Got a problem with it? I thought you hated that place. Consider it a welcome gift”. She gasped. ‘he did it for me?’ but she quickly brushed it away. She didn't think it was possible. But him saying it was a gift for her still made her blush. She then remembered the others. She wasn't in perfect terms with them but they were victims just as much as she was and she didn't want them to end so badly. Before she could ask he beat her to it. “Don't worry, you're subordinates are fine. They were rescued before the explosion”. She sighed in relief upon hearing it. That was good. “Thank you… really” she said in a small voice, genuinely grateful. She hadn't been with him for up to an hour but he was already doing everything right. They didn't speak again and she just looked outside the window. Admiring the view of the city at night. After like two hours of driving they finally got to a more secluded part of the city. Consisting of lesser houses and more trees. They drove on a desolate road for about an hour before reaching a pathway with even more clusters of trees and plants. It looked like a forest. They took a side road and after that they were on a normal road again. But bushes still lined the environment a bit, they drove different past houses and establishments again. Alissa guessed that this was a pack area. Probably the RedFang pack. And it was going to be her new home. She smiled. They stopped at one huge and luxurious house then the driver came down to open the door for Erwin. He stepped out and adjusted the sleeves of his dark shirt while Alissa came down. Some people were in front of the house when they got down. One was a middle aged woman with kind eyes. There were also two young men whom Alissa guessed were security. Then there was a young lady as well. Alissa looked around. The place was beautiful with well kept garden on both sides of the large walkway. Soon another car pulled over not far away. It was beta Jude, he signaled something to the Alpha. When Erwin saw that he looked at the older lady. Whose name was Mrs Gwen. “Mrs. Gwen, please show our guest to a room to freshen up and have some rest”,. Mrs. Gwen smiled softly at him “of course Alpha” she then turned to Alissa, gesturing inside. “ This way dear”. Alissa quietly nodded and followed the older lady inside. She noted the way Erwin's eyes softened a bit when he spoke to Mrs. Gwen. How could she not. When she watched him every second she could. She looked back and saw that Erwin was entering the car Jude came with. It seems he was going out again. Maybe to perform his Alpha duty. She admired the elegant but warm building as she entered. Inside the house was as beautiful as outside. She found it fascinating because she hadn't even seen a normal house before. The only other place she had seen other than the facility and it's extensions, is an orphanage. She was taken upstairs to a big room with white and beige theme. It was also beautiful. Mrs Gwen turned to her. “You can freshen up here, I'll get you something to wear and eat.” Before she could leave Alissa stopped her. “Mrs. Gwen, when will the Alpha be back” Alissa asked hopefully. Mrs Gwen just laughed softly. “No one knows the Alpha's schedule dear. He is that unpredictable. But you will be sent to the pack house tomorrow so no need to worry about that, you might see him there often”. Alissa nodded in understanding but froze upon understanding that she would be send to the pack house. She knew this was Erwin's house. She wanted to stay here, she didn't want to go to the pack house. She didn't spend years planning to come here just to be cast aside like a normal pack member. She turned to Mrs Gwen, “I would like to stay here and serve the alpha, after all, he bought me”. She said boldly with no shame. Gwen's eyes widened slightly. ‘Bought?. So this girl was a slave the alpha bought, but why would he do that?’. She thought. They was unlike Erwin. He probably had a goal. She looked at Alissa again, wondering how she would tell her that going to the pack house was the best choice. “Maybe you can tell the alpha that when you see him. Meanwhile have a good rest, I'll be back soon.” Gwen said and went out. Alissa frowned. Why did it seem like that Mrs Gwen was avoiding her or something. Well if the plan was to send her to the pack house. Then she would just have to make her place in that house by making the alpha never forget about her. She took a deep breath. She was going to do whatever it took.
