Hunter- I Lost Her

348 Words
HUNTER POV “She texts you saying she went out. Where?” Her dark blue eyes fall. “Why didn’t she text me?” she spoke. “she said something about her grandmother. I didn’t get it. She said she tried phoning you, but you didn’t answer.” I stand in the corner of her room, gradually looking for something. “Can you find it? VI must have moved everything about before she left. She does that when she is stressed. Oh, I hope her grandmother is okay. I didn’t know her stepfather’s mother was still alive.” She questioned, “I should ring her, I only nipped to the shop for a few moments.” “No! I mean, she may not answer anyway. You can, if she answers, could you let me know.” I stood up from the floor and headed out. “Did you find what you were looking for?” “No. But I will ask her tomorrow. You should get some sleep.” “Thank you. You, too.” She bites her bottom lip, something Violetta does too. “Wait.” “Yes.” I halt. “Last time her grandmother was ill, she left town, she may not be back for a couple of days.” “Thank you,” I mutter, she closed the door behind me as I headed down the stairs and out the doors. I practically ripped the phone out of my pocket and rang my brother as quickly as I could. “Common” … “Common.” “Hunter?” His sleepy voice came through the phone. My mother tongue screams through to him. “Wait. What? Slow down. Violetta?” “She’s gone, brother. There was blood, I think she had gone, and they've taken her. I cannot reach her. I cannot feel her.” I opened the car door and started the engine. “Meet me at fathers!” He rustles. “Are you sure?” I pause, I don’t know what he will do. “Yes, brother. It's Violetta after all.”
