Bluebelle shivered, her skin crawling under the weight of Donovan Tang’s departing glare. "Julian Vance... do you think he saw us? I don't want to get on his bad side. He looks like he could snap a person in half without blinking." Yvonne’s sister tried to sound brave, though her hands were shaking. "Probably not. He’s a soldier, they always look like they’re planning a murder. Besides, if he did see us, he would have taken the phone. Let’s just get out of here before the 'Demon CEO' himself shows up." The Fury of a Woman Scorned Outside the crumbling walls of the second workshop, the air was pierced by a rhythmic, sickening thud-thud-thud. Chloe Bishop skidded to a halt at the edge of the courtyard, her breath hitching. High above on a rusted iron balcony, Sarah Vance stood like a vengeful goddess of war. Her face was a mask of cold, concentrated hatred as she leveled her rifle downward. On the concrete floor below, Yvonne Blue was curled into a pathetic, trembling ball. She wasn't just "hit." One leg was twisted at an unnatural angle—the result of her "fall" from the low balcony. But Sarah wasn't calling for a medic. She was systematically emptying her remaining magazines into Yvonne’s injured leg. Pop. Pop. Pop. "It hurts! Stop it! Please, Sarah, stop!" Yvonne shrieked, her voice cracking with agony as the high-velocity paintballs slammed repeatedly into the fresh break. Sarah’s eyes were bloodshot, fueled by a decade of repressed military discipline and months of marital betrayal. She wanted to swap the paint for lead. She wanted to erase this woman from the earth. "SARAH! STOP IT!" A thunderous roar broke the tension. Arthur Vance burst onto the scene, his face contorted with a mixture of shock and primal rage. He saw the "cruelty" unfolding—his wife, standing above like an executioner, and the "fragile" woman he had promised to protect, bleeding and broken on the floor. Sarah froze, her rifle still raised. The sight of Arthur didn't dampen her fire; it turned it into an inferno. Arthur didn't even look at Sarah. He sprinted to Yvonne’s side, using his own body as a human shield to block any further shots. "Are you out of your mind? You’re acting like a goddamn monster!" Sarah didn't lower the gun. She aimed it directly at Arthur’s chest. The Fabric of Lies The betrayal cut deeper than any physical wound. That morning, in the quiet safety of their bedroom, Sarah had asked him, "The guys are going to the range for CS later. Donovan and Julian will be there. Do you want to come?" Arthur had looked her in the eye and said, "I can't, honey. I have a massive meeting with a new investor. The growth for the second half of the year depends on me landing this account." And yet, here he was. The realization hit Sarah like a physical blow. He hadn't come for the "investor." He had come because Yvonne had whispered in his ear. She had baited him, making him fear that Sarah would hurt her—and like a well-trained dog, he had come running to save his "Lotus." Arthur gathered the sobbing Yvonne into his arms, his heart breaking at her state. "My leg... Arthur, I think it’s broken. It hurts so much..." Yvonne whimpered, burying her tear-streaked face in his neck. Arthur looked up at Sarah, his eyes filled with a new, dark loathing. "Did you push her? Did you actually push her off that balcony?" Yvonne began to shake violently, clutching Arthur’s tactical vest. "Don't ask, Arthur... please don't ask. I just want to go. Take me to the hospital, please!" To Arthur, her silence was the ultimate confirmation of Sarah's "evil." He looked at Sarah—the mother of his child, the woman he had chased for years—and felt nothing but disgust. He believed Yvonne was a victim who would rather suffer in silence than break up his family. Under the collective gaze of their friends and the Hans, Arthur didn't care about his reputation anymore. He scooped Yvonne up in a bridal carry, his face a mask of fury. As he turned to leave, Yvonne peeked over his shoulder. For a split second, the "fragile" mask slipped. She looked directly at Sarah and offered a tiny, triumphant smile—the look of a winner who had just dismantled a kingdom. "Arthur!" Sarah’s voice cracked, her hands trembling so hard the rifle clattered to the floor. "I didn't push her! She threw herself off to frame me! Can't you see that?" Arthur didn't even pause. He walked away with the other woman in his arms, leaving Sarah standing alone in the ruins of her life. The "fragile peace" has officially shattered into a thousand jagged pieces. Yvonne Blue has sacrificed her own bone and blood to ensure Sarah loses everything—her husband’s trust, her reputation, and her dignity. Chloe stands in the courtyard, watching her best friend crumble, knowing that the "Demon CEO" is likely watching this entire scandal unfold through his surveillance network. Will Chloe step forward to testify for Sarah, or will the arrival of a furious Xavier Grayson change the stakes of this confrontation? Should Chloe use her influence with the Hans to try and mitigate the scandal, or is it time for Sarah to finally stop fighting for a man who doesn't deserve her?
