The phone is still ringing. It’s Alyssa. I smiled bitterly, he won’t call you anymore Anastasia, stop acting like everything’s alright, you two are over already. I wanted to slap myself with such thoughts.
“H-hello,” I answered.
“Anaaaaaaaa!” Aly exclaimed at the top of her lungs, damn this girl. She’s always happy and energetic.
“No need to shout Aly, I’m not deaf,” I warned.
“How are you there? I heard the event will be in Shangri-La. It’s a nice resort and hotel. Are there hot guys there?” She continuously asks.
I frowned even though she couldn’t see it.
“Yes, we’re in Shangri-La Aly and we’re good here. I don’t know what your standard of hot guys is, but I guess I haven’t seen one.” I replied just to ruin her
