I was going to write my exams, graduate, and we could have all those adventures. Dad was going to take a leave as well, a paid one, so we could have as much fun as we wanted to.
"I love that idea. You know, I didn't think you were listening that day."
" I'm always listening to you." He was quick to respond, and that put a very big smile on my face. Probably not even bigger than the one I've had the whole day.
"I know. I was just teasing you." I kissed him.
Then I slept in his arms after telling him good night and that I love him, and he said he loves me, too. I had to ask this before I closed my eyes because it just popped out of nowhere in my head and demanded to be answered.
