Ishtar I heard it all. My eyelids refused to open. I was in a state of stasis. A state vampires returned to when they were nearly bleeding to death from their wounds. We could remain in this state forever, but we were vulnerable. Easy to kill. If Adonay had been any other werewolf, he would have ripped my heart out by now.
